From Shooter's column today:

The St. John's men's golf team that won the NCAA Division III championship will be featured on CBS-TV at 12:30 p.m. on July 1 on an NCAA championship show.
I fly any cargo that you can pay to run
The bush league pilots, they just can't get the job done
You've got to fly down the canyon, don't never see the sun
There's no such thing as an easy run

It's a holiday.  The MIAC posters only post from work. ;)

A 2006 study found that the average American walks
about 900 miles a year.
Another study found that Americans drink an average of
22 gallons of beer a year.

That means, on average, Americans get about 41 miles
per gallon."

Not Bad.
If you can't ignore an insult, top it; if you can't top it, laugh it off; and if you can't laugh it off, it's probably deserved.

Willy Wonka

Wonka, Frank and Mongo walked into Patricks last night to a little ditty called "Blowjob Betty" bumping for all to hear. Wonka was instantly in Heaven, though Frank and Mongo were more at ease an hour later when 80s rock starting playing.

What's the point of this? Contrary to some posters wishes, they are both still alive. Or were as of last night anyway...Mongo's lady didn't look really happy when she took him to the sack at 2 am...
I don't hate Duke. I just hate all their players, coaches and fans.

Made it back from the Indy 500. What a trip.

Hard to explain other than roll together the Superbowl-Mardi Gras-State Fair-Stiftungfestivities-Times Square on New Years Eve and Woodstock and a monster race track and you somehow might get the drift.

Highlight: Got to meet A.J. Foyt and Mario Andretti while roaming around the garage area on Saturday. And the race itself. Unbelievable sights.

Lowlight: After the race, back at the hotel we asked the concierge where was a close by sports bar so we could eat and watch the Cup race. He sent us to the Ram a half block away. It was fine.
However, walking back to the hotel we noticed there was a Hooters a half block the other direction.  :-[

Most Bizarre Thing: Police escorts to the track. Lights going, sirens blaring. One cop car led the 2 buses while the other would block the intersection and then race up to the next. Our corporate group consisted of about 24 people. We used a suite at the track for 80. We went  to the track 3 times via 2 coach buses. 12 people per bus. We had room for 100.  ???

With a name like The Ram, I would have been worried that I was going to a "different" kind of bar...

A tradition unrivaled...
