It was twice. :D

Once because of TDT and once because of the BusDriver.  Whatever happened to that guy???

I think "the bus is out"
I heard a rumor that the BusDriver lost his CDL for Fouling the Freeway.  ;D
I think BDB can verify the rumor.  ;)

Ask KR.....He almost got it shut down a couple times himself.

I came close once that I can remember, but I won't deny what I don't remember. I've had posts deleted on more than one occasion!

57,
I think I heard that same rumor :P
Now accepting new patients. All bills must be paid in scotch shortly after any services rendered.  Sorry TDT, no problems below the waist.

Discovered by the Germans in 1904, they named it San Diego, which of course in German means a whale's vagina.

Taking the walk down memory lane, did the "puppies & kittens " scandal shut down the board, or just get Sneaky Pete sent to the corner so a stretch?

Political exchanges shut down things in 2004, if my memory serves me correctly. Pat then created a new section for politics only (good idea).

Bus Driver......Priceless.
As of now they're on DOUBLE SECRET Probation!

I have been waiting to see when the political exchanges would start :o

Klop, a bit of advice.  I stuck my foot in the politics water a couple of times and it costs you mega-negative-karma, with almost no +k.

That being said, is there anyone else out there who finds the specter of our next possible president sleeping with a previous president a bit creepy?

I missed this from Shooter:

Glenn Caruso, 33, who on Thursday left Macalester College as football coach and moved up the street to become football coach at the University of St. Thomas, was an assistant at North Dakota State and recruited many of the NDSU players who helped the Bison beat the Gophers last fall in the Metrodome.

Macalester athletics director Travis Feezell, who had Caruso for two seasons, wishes him only the best.

"Glenn was completely honest and forthright with me during the whole process," Feezell said. "St. Thomas is not only a good job, but a phenomenal job."

St. Thomas' opener next season, by the way, is against Macalester on Sept. 6 at St. Thomas. Feezell said he plans to hire a successor to Caruso next week.

That does seem to indicate that it would be an inside person for Caruso's job.
Unless there was some guy in a suit who looks a lot like Caruso, he was already on the job yesterday at the Tommie Ole BB game, showing a recruit around.  Looked like a big tall wide receiver type he was courting.

I think I would enjoy reading what it takes to shut a board down, or following the action as it happens.

Maybe Pat will let you do an internship.  You could follow him around for a few months. :-*

Social calendar for this week: next Saturday, the BockFest at the Schell's Brewery and the Fasching, the German Mardi Gras, at the Turner Hall in New Ulm. Wild game feed at the Lakeside Ballroom in Waconia Saturday evening. All the roadkill you could ever want to eat.

Worked the TwinsFest Friday night. Luck would have it that our booth for the state amateur state baseball tournament would be right across from the booth for the Bethel baseball program. :P

I think I will pass, but thanks for the advice.  I might just have to make a bunch of erroroneous statments and shut the board down myself.

If you've been married for more than a day, you know damn well that after the sh*t he's pulled numerous times, the only thing he's sleeping with is the dog!

While it would be innappropriate to release the source of these statments, I have a well trusted source that claimed those two had many white house artifact throwing cotests.  These were contests were not the type where they saw how far they could throw the piece they saw how far they could throw the piece, it was if they could hit eachother with the pieces.

The same source tells me that they sleep in seperate rooms and they each have their own fun.

No, no, I'm not inferring Bill and Hillary.  I was thinking about McCain and Bush.

Perhaps you refer to the story of the Clinton aide who was treated in a hospital ER after being hit by a flying ashtray.  Reportedly he had the misfortune to be standing behind Bill and failed to duck when Bill did.  True or not, it made the rounds at the time.
