My Pens are down, but not out.  Any team ever come back from two down?

Mr. Ypsi

OJ, Thanks for posting that!

I got a 58, and I contest their answer on #27!  (Though I confess I just blew #58 -I misread the correct answer. :-[)

Yes, I am a nerd.  But I win a lot of Trivial Pursuit games! :D

Good news: yes.

Bad news: of 31 teams, 1 did.

I grant you one in P'burgh - Wings in 5.

I only got 36 right. I contend the test is biased. There wasn't one question about drinking.

tmert- it's up to you to beat ypsi's 58.

Sorry.  52.  No wonder I have to keep working; I don't understand economics.

53 out of 60 here, but I think it's due to my personal bias in political science and economics.

Just checking in. The family is all up here and we're living in Eden Prairie. Hope to make a game at Gustavus, St. John's and other locales coming up. However, I'll bring the family so I'll be very much less on the shenanigans, as it were.

Having a wife that has watched almost all the Bachelor and Bachelorette seasons; watching this season with her has been more interesting than usual with the "Virgin" Gustie providing weekly entertainment.

Wives are also convenient for blaming stuff on ... like watching entire seasons of the Bachelor and Bachelorette. :D

As we have just passed Memorial Day, I will take a chance and descend into lowly dorkdom by linking to the Civic Literacy Report - Civic's Quiz.  There are 60 questions and I'm proud to say I scored 56 correct (93.33%).  Harvard was the top scoring school at 69.56%.  Interestingly, SCSU was in on the study (by the Intercollegiate Studies Institute) and scored the third best "Bang For Your Buck" civics education.

Now, my wife says that on rare occasions I demonstrate that I can be a hopeless nerd.  I trust this post proves her wrong...

Not as good as you OZ but I got a 51. I was 10 points above the May average so I do not feel to badly.

You must not be a true Pens fan because this post clearly isn't whiney enough!! Where are the excuses about the clutching, the grabbing and the flopping goaltender? ;)

For the record, I do think Osgood has been taking lesson on how to fall like he is dead from Hasek. But if you don't skate in on him and give him a whack, you can't get a penalty for knocking him down. I also understand that if you play the game, you take your hits. That said, I do think it was a bit cheap for Roberts to punch Frazen in the head when he is coming back from a concussion. Going after a sore arm/shoulder/ribs, etc...uh, sure, but head injuries are not something to mess with (or intentionally try to exacerbate).

As one of the guys on my morning radio show says, "it ain't a series until the home team loses!" I hope the Wings make it a series tonight!! :D

How about them Lakers? ;)   The Pens, win or lose had a great season.  They are entertaining to watch and are a dynasty waiting to happen.  I just hope the 'burgh can afford to keep all the young'uns.

That is the downside to a team doing well. The player's price goes up and with the salary cap, that means some unpopular decisions have to be made. :'(

A couple that I was sure of I got wrong and a couple I had no clue about I got correct so go figure.
