The Augie trip in June included games (and sightseeing) in Italy, France, and Spain.

Someday, perhaps soon, there will be a two-sport junior NAIA transfer whom was redshirted his freshman season and hurt for 4/7ths of his sophomore season (winter sport) tagged in some summer photos overseas and this board will have what it all means summarily rounded up within 24 hours.  :D

Why should it take 24 hrs?   :P

Because it's summer. In winter the answer would be provided within 60 minutes.  ;D

The North Central Cardinals are in the midst of a nine day trip on which they're cavorting on the beaches, visiting the Volcanoes and other National Parks, sport fishing, snorkeling, river kayaking, and even playing a little basketball in beautiful Costa Rica.

Details are sketchy, but so far the Cards have beaten a 24 and under top club team 100-70, and a Costa Rican pro league team 71-58. Connor Raridon led the first game scoring with 29, and game MVP Nick Kramer had 23, including 6 threes. Matt Cappelletti and Will Clausel both had in the area of 12-15 points. Clausel and game MVP Cappelletti both had 20+ in the 2nd game, with Raridon adding 15. "Smitty" Smietanski turned in a couple of nice floor games.

Q, have you found any way to stream these games?  I checked both teams websites and a cursory Google search came up empty.

* It will be interesting to see how often Bair & O'Neill will be on the floor together during the regular season. Go big or go home? 🏀 🤔

* Will Lambesis be the regular season starter given the presence of D1 transfer Schumacher?

* Sensing Wallen will be developing into an all-conference level player. Strong in many phases.

* Wolfe seems solid at the point. His pluses have widely outdistanced his minuses during his first two years as a primary sub. I like his steadiness. Doesn't appear to bounce back and forth between being way up and way down within short stents of time.

Probably a situational, in-game kind of thing.  The team today was bigger than the Titans (they had this guy - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iwA33y4eiHI), which might be why they went with that big lineup.

The other option is to go something like:

G Wolfe, 5-11
G Schumacher, 6-0
G Lambesis, 6-4
F Wallen, 6-5
C O'Neill, 6-9, or Leritz, 6-6

That lineup is very quick/athletic on the perimeter, and versatile at the 4 with Wallen who can play inside and out.  It's obviously a much smaller way to go.

Very helpful for IWU getting to play 3 games during the summer to get a look at combinations.  I think this will give them a chance to determine if Wallen should primarily be a 3 or 4 this season.

AndOne

As an opponent, I feel more threatened by a lineup of;

PG Wolfe
SG Schumacher
SF Wallen
PF Bair
C O'Neill/Leritz

than I do by;

G Wolfe
G Schumacher
G Lambesis
F Wallen
C Leritz/O'Neill

Or, IWU wants to go 3 guard (smaller) -

G Wolfe
G Schumacher
G Noe (from TQ's descriptions)
F Wallen
C O'Neill
