Showdown with Utica on the horizon! Cortland Defense has looked the same as in the past. Might not be impenetrable, but pretty solid! Offensively, we aren't the same but looks like we have found a groove! Lots of weapons and it's coming together!

The score could have been a bit higher, or the game could have been a score closer. Lots of action to close the game out with Cortland missing a FG, and then Utica getting picked off in the end zone! A wins a win....and it looks like the Dragons are getting better each week. Time to rest for a week!

Been lurking this season and Im surprised that there hasnt been much noise from the Fisher faithful about the turnaround that Raby has done with his squad!  I am glad to see that the Alma Mater has new life and a little swagger.  I certainly didnt see it coming this quickly!

Dragons torched those Saxons today! Cortland was hitting on almost all cylinders...except they put the ball on the ground a few times! On to the next one in Pittsford next week!

Not sure what the stat lines were, but SJF came out hitting hard. The Dragons hit a little harder and for bit longer! Was a great first half to watch! Onto to Alfred State before the big one with Brockport and then Cortaca!

Hats off to Coach Raby and the job he's done in his first yr at Fisher. Great to see them being competitive again! Punched the Dragons in the nose in those opening two drives. Cortland defense buckled down in the second half and the offense found some rhythm. Cortland defense has bent at times this season but they do a nice job adjusting things to clamp down on opponents. Looking forward to watching the Red Dragons down at Alfred State tommorow!

Not sure what to make of this week's Fisher UU game.
Raby seems to have energized this Fisher team which is amazing given the past doldrums.
UU I honestly have no idea what team shows up this week.
Had a chance to watch them against Morrisville and they were lackluster.
They have firepower but are very up and down.
They let off the gas against mooville and could have easily lost that game.
Hoping for a big Cardinal dub this weekend!

E8 showdown this week with the Eagles coming to town! Should be a legit game! Cortland has come a long way since the meltdown v Grove City! When the Dragons hit on all cylinders, they have been nasty!

Bport has been playing well. Scoring points and playing great D as they always seem to do!

Something is going to give!

Maybe we missed it, but didn't see explanation for Cortland leading RB Ethan Gallo absence from Saturday outing at Alfred St. Took note of his brief exiting previous game following a hit. Returned shortly. Understudy Tyson Taylor filled in nicely Saturday, and been particularly wide-eyed over Max Barone's work. Then Kymanni Dennis made late strides. 'O' line impressive. Look for Bport to be a handful.

Cortland converts several Brockport misplays into 44-14 RDragon homefield rout for fifth straight conference title. Ethan Gallo returns to backfield. Bport with stat edge in ground, air -- 336-262, though champs with TOP edge alongside qb M. Resigno three td flips to acrobatic receivers. Kudos to offensive line of Nos. 73-4-5-6-7!!
    Resigno 9x14, 100yds, 0int, 3td; returner R. Dass Jr. 76yd td. GEagle B. Gocella 14x30, 3int; rb I. Simmons 20x137, 2td

Dragons Ithaca-bound next Saturday against growing Bombers who today stun host RPI 24-23. Engineers block a punt with 1:53 left. Return for TD. Line up for tying PAT kick. Fake it .....holder tosses left to end zone for two-pointer. Well-covered receiver can't come up with low toss.

Cortland special teams were the X factor today! The defensive unit might be one of the better groups Cortland has fielded in a good while! The offense has been clicking! Today they hammered away in all phases!

Cortaca should be another great one next week!
