Now that the election is over, I would like to say that I will work toward bringing unity to the E8PP, but that's not really in the spirit of these boards.  So, while I wholeheartedly support any E8 team in the postseason, I present to you now the campaign propoganda that I distributed to my Alfred constituency whose support was crucial in winning the commissionership:

Well, Pep finished his reign as Commish over the E8 football message boards and the election for 2008 has begun.  I'm flattered to have been selected randomly by the E8 posters and I think that we should show our support for Alfred by trying to keep the title of Commish "nestled away 'neath the Empire State hills."  So, hop onto the E8 football board between now and Super Tuesday to vote.

Thank you for your support in the Empire 8 primaries.  I was selected to represent the rural college communities and Alfred specifically in the open election today, February 6th.  My opponent, Booby, is a fine E8 poster and I know that we all love boobies, but as you make your way to the Empire 8 football message board this day ask yourself "do we really want to have a Fisher alum presiding over the conference message boards?"  I will continue to work toward bringing an Empire 8 title and an NCAA tournament bid to Merrill Field and provide support to the "third best pep band in the East Region" for as long as I am commissioner!

Well a quick shout out to all my homies who voted for me, we didn't get to win this time but the future looks bright!  All those who voted for me feel free to step forth and receive your karma dap (maximum 7 karma's allotted since that was all the votes I received minus my own).  I will still use the title of Vice-Commissioner and ask that you all address me as such before each post for the foreseeable future, or risk reprimand by failing to do so.

I received the new Hornell-Bath-Dansville Talking Yellowpages last night and was pleasantly surprised to see the Saxons' own Jared Manzer on the cover (beating a Hartwick defender).

Congratulations to Commish Kaz00! Pep wonders who broke the tie. Pep is amazed that Lil Alf has provided back-to-back commissioners to the E8. Pep already can see a vast difference in leadership styles between Pep and the new commissioner, Kaz00. I think it will be a fun ride for E8 Posters everywhere!

Also, thanks for the reminder about the Growney visitor bleachers. Pep may just have to send a letter to AD Ward at Fisher to file an "official" complaint.
