TGP has met DOC.  Those shoes wouldn't fit.

On a separate note, Hobart won the "Toughest Road to Salem" award from the ATN column!

On behalf of all Hobart Statesmen, TGP accepts this award.....oh wait...(queue Homer Simpson voice).....DOH!

My pleasure TGP...

Unleaded gasoline is presently trading at:

$0.997/gallon.

Add 60 cents in NYS and Federal taxes, and gas in New York should be about $1.60+gas station profit of about 10 cents per gallon ($1.699/gallon).  The high was around $4.219/gallon, meaning a 12-gallon car tank will cost $30.24 less to fill from the high.

The average up here right now is about $2.149, though I did see it for about $1.959 the other day, nearly swerved off the road!

We love gasoline price drops.....especially when you own 2 SUV's and it's too cold to bust out the Ninja.

This whole thing with the non scholarship 1AA's  dropping football is a shame.  Marist College is down the road from me and they were in Iona's conference, as well as Siena's, and Canisius.  The latter 3 dropped their squads.  From Xred's understanding, even though their BBall programs are scholarship 1A, they decided to play non scholarship 1AA.  Watching Marist get shredded by the Lafyette's, Bucknells, and San Diego's makes you wonder why they stick that 1A title on their name if they are best an avg D3 program.    XRed is sure its has to do with some red tape somewhere along the line.  Those schools should have been D3...but I could see it being a problem if they had Scholarship BBall players lining up in the secondary or receiver spots.

TGP noticed that 2 of the 3 experts on the DD are picking Lyco.  At least the Guru picked Hobart.

The game should be a very good (probably very close) one regardless.  Go Bart!
