Did Patch get hurt? Saw Boston came in and threw the pick that lead to the score. Tough on a backup.

Patch back in now.

Quote from: UfanBill on November 22, 2025, 01:51:07 PMHorrible turn of events to start the second half...after a Muhlenberg FG Union QB Patch Flanagan did not return to the field for the second half. Cole Brisson intercepted on 3rd play and now it's 24-14.

Patch is back...Not sure what happened as I'm going strictly by Live Stats.

These games are produced by the local schools. There's definitely a chance some of the issue is on ESPN's end, but it's probably the school's issue.

Nothing like following an entire game on stat track...with that said watching a great match up between Susquehanna and W&J. Sus up 21-17 and driving in the 3rd.

Patch is THE MAN...he returns and leads Union right down the field. Takes it in himself but expt blocked...24-20 Mules

Union fighting but about to give up another TD. Union fighting but just can't stop the Miles right now. As I'm typing Muhlenberg gets in.

Got to give it to the Mules, they are moving the ball and scoring.

Susquehanna goes up 28-17 with Elrich playing like he was hyped to play from the start of the season.

Then why would there be issues at multiple games? I've asked counselor/Mr. Mayor to start an investigation. 8-)

Union scores on a big TD PASS FROM patch to Rivera. Union gets stopped on the 2-point conversion. 31-26 Mules. Union D needs to step up now.

Susquehanna scores 35-24 4Q. Susquehanna offense really feeling it now.

Union trying to get the ball back. Myles driving 3+ mins left. So proud of Union.

Patch intercepted and that will be the game.

So proud of Union and the fight they showed. They made more mistakes than Muhlenberg and to me, that was the difference. Fumble and int cost the Union, but Patxh was a warrior and I couldn't be more proud.

I really hope RPI and Hobart win.

Definitely rooting for Muhlenberg moving forward and going to Alliance. The Mules made some big plays when they needed to and that was a big time 32 yard FG to go up 8. Lots of credit to the Mules.

Final...Muhlenberg 34-Union 26...Union just could not stop the Mules in the 2nd half. The game changed in that 3 play disaster when Patch was not on the field. (if that wasn't a stats mistake) Great effort by the Garnet. Patch was brilliant yet again...26/34 300 yds 3 TDs but the Mules held him to only 41 net yards rushing.

Patch is a good RPO QB.  The Mules probably made him throw it and that exactly what he did.  Looks like a great game there.

The ESPN broadcast requirements are different/higher than most D-III schools are really equipped to handle, and overworked SIDs are tasked with doing this on top of dealing with winter sports starting and all sorts of other things.

Union looks like they put up a good fight but the Mules are a very good team. Congrats to Union on a LL title and the close game today. RPI takes care of business and Hobart is rolling to a 42-7 lead in the fourth quarter in NYC. Cortland loss to Springfield kinda raps up a mediocre season for New York D3 football. Here's to improving our teams next year!

Patch had some kind of stomach bug, and was puking all over the sideline to start the second half.
