WestConn should have won that game.  they gave them 28 points with those two turnovers.  Should have been 41-14 WestConn.

Grow up. If Union fans are going to dismiss other teams beating them because of a handful of reasons, they don't get to complain when it's done to them using the exact same criteria.

Week 1: Ithaca's QB "stinks up the joint", the defense gets a TD, and the Bombers get dominated on TOP. Union fan tells Ithaca fan these factors mean Ithaca shouldn't have won

Week 2: Union's QB stinks up the joint (25 yards!), the defense gets two TDs, and the Dutchmen are dominated on TOP. Ithaca fan tells Union fan these factors mean Union shouldn't have won. (Actually, he only brought up one of them. But the shoe fits)

Amazingly, Union fan only sees issue when it's used against them

Pep is thinking the point was aptly and succinctly made with a touch of humor. Exaggeration is always funny to Pep. But not so funny for some who haven't learned the humble art of laughing at oneself.  ;)

+K to all for providing some reading material this morning!

dlip responded with some intended humor with a stay classy line taken directly from the amazing Ron Burgundy...he was simply enjoying the banter (maybe he should have included a Ron Burgundy picture to go along with the quote ((he considered this but was just a bit to lazy this Sunday morning)). He certainly didn't mean to insight any hostility here bombers. He also took into account the humor that Utah can bring to the table and felt it appropriate to continue it.

On a serious note, IDHO, the two games Union/Ithaca and Union/West Conn could not be more different. To dlip there is no doubt that the Union/Ithaca game was a close, well balanced game that could have gone either way. Ithaca won, and deserved to. They clearly made the big plays on defense when they needed to (ex. sacks and fumble recovery for the TD). For a Union team who at the time, lost over 10 ****ing games in a row, to go to such a historic and well respected place like Ithaca, with a new coaching staff and compete the way we did,
and winning many statistical categories (not that this obviously tells all) please excuse some elation on our part. It was exciting and positive. Something we have not had in quite some time.

For the first time in a long time yesterday dlip can say, IDHO that Union was the better team throughout the game. There were certainly parts where the Colonials grabbed momentum however it was not nearly as balanced a game as Union/Ithaca last week. The Dutchmen by no means blew the doors off of West Conn. However IDHO regardless of TOP (which in many games tells a lot and in others not so much) Union was the better team yesterday in a game where their defense, much like Ithaca's the week before, made the big plays when necessary.

Dlip does get your point and respects it. We can't have it both ways and need to be open to rebuttal at anytime especially regarding past posts and insinuations. However dlip does not appreciate the "gow up" comment and feels he did nothing to deserve that. Like he mentioned earlier, his post to Utah was in fun (and in hinesight he should have posted the Burgundy pic to better illustrate that). He hopes this clears this up. By the way, as always dlip will be rooting heavily for the Bombers from here on out. Hell he just found out yesterday U's radio man, Andrew Santillo is a Bomber himself.

And Dlip , you can't root for Ithaca against a LL team until next year....Statesmen need your support next week against the "still E8" Bombers  :'(

Thanks for the reminder Bartman. dlip certainly will be rooting for Hobart next week against IC. He just has always had a real liking for IC and their storied program. However that can't trump a game against a fellow league mate. Hence he'll be rooting for IC for the rest of the season starting in week 4.

Funny, dlip used to really dislike RPI and and any other league rival regardless of who they played. He had very little if any UCAA and LL  allegiance up until a couple years ago when he "woke the **** up and smelled the LL Sanka!"

Nice job with Endicott yesterday. Man when Sweeney turns it on he turns it on. What a passing attack!

Easy Pep, only so much love to go around especially when you beat up on  LL"remainer" RPI...but impressed with Alfred so far this year...the Saxons have a shot at E8 title for sure.....Statesmen will try to soften up the Bombers for you by throwing a few bombs of our own this Saturday ;)

LOL dlip, (disclaimer: putting a "lol" in one of my messages is just like putting in an emoji.  I feel like my manhood slips one notch, but I thought the emoji in my last post was the only way to get my point across that I wasn't really being that serious)

Panties, bunch, etc.

Carry on, and hugs given and accepted all around.

Yeah, they deserve a lot of credit for dominating RPI pretty much negating any "GOTW" hype I thought this one may achieve. Hard to tell who's who since it's still early, but Saxons are 2-0 and look like a solid club.

Also, I don't like RPI's uniforms, specifically the white patch/lower sleeve thing going on.

Black, red and white are fine colors for a uniform, just not all at once like this.

Pep used to say the Alfred Sun is "black and white and read all over." Guess the same could be said for the RPI uni's. Pep wasn't enamored with AU's new home uni's at first, but they're sort of growing on him. Watched the webcast but didn't notice the travel uni's being much different than before. Pep loves the white.

Gold stripes on the shoulder looked old school to Pep....but kinda like it now.
