The geniuses at Skoal have sucked me back in.  Right when I was scaling back towards quitting, they come out with 'Citrus' flavor.  It tastes like that gatorade gum from back in the day.  Amazing.  I hate you Skoal!!!

QUestion for the Hobart guys...

Based on the picture ont he front page, you have some very cool colors to work with, but when are you gonna get cool uniforms?  That logo is terrible, and the white socks are nasty.  You need to work some dark colors in there, either a cool logo or none at all, and some kind of flash.  So much potential!!!

Don't get the Rev and TGP started.  Bart's colors are Royal Purple and Orange, yet for some reason we get blue and orange unis like we are the mini-cuse.  It's weak.

TGP wished Bart would go the Clemson route with all orange unis with an old school purple H on the helmets.  The flip side - all purple with orange H (kind of like washington or tcu?) would be pretty sweet.

And please, anyone but Riddell (same unis since 1954).  No style.  Can't some $$$$ alum hook the team up with some Nike or Reebok action - it is the capital campaign for chrisssssakes!

B'lee dat!  The Rev is tired of the Split H.  Ever since PENN made the split P, every college and their frigging Athletic Director has copied them.  Damn!

When The Rev becomes president of Hobart, he will make the Statesmen wear some killer threads and Saranac will be the official beer.

If gro may talk football for a second.  RPI football, it is time to step up.  No dancing since the final 4 team of 2003.  No LL titles (12-8 in the league 04-06). Losses to the likes of Utica, SLU (twice!!) and rochester.  And of course, the hobart losing streak.

2005 and 2006 weren't bad seasons. 05 was about as close at the LL has ever been and RPI was 2 shootouts away from being undefeated. The last 2 seasons ended with ECAC wins on the road against established programs.

RPI is still one of the top teams in NY (and IMO the best school in the east for academics & football combined) but this program needs to get back in the playoffs. That is all for now.

PBR- there is no need for a full tank of gas.  We will be staying local, so MR can drive home when Reg pounds 38 ML's and 14 coronas with PapaReg, Regsbro and MrsRegsBro on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday.

OK - Realistic has a question for the LLPP.

All this BBQ talk has me extremely jealous.  What is the ettiquitte (sp) on Weddings over holiday weekends?  No bbq's for me, as I am headed to a wedding this weekend.  It is going to be a good time, but I hate having to turn down 2 BBQ invites and an invite to the Jersey Shore.

pbr was never a big fan of this...although pbr does see 1 positive as in you dont have to take a vaca day if you dont want to...but otherwise wtf? unless its at some shore/lake or island where you can party and have a good time for pbr it doesnt make sense. it takes away a solid weekend of partying in swimsuits and sunglasses to strap on a monkey suit and have to be at all different places at pre determined times.
