The Rev was in the Soviet Union in 1988, Red China in 1996 and North Korea in 2000.  Here's the end result of a government controlled economy.

If things keep going the way they're going at least we'll have 6'5" women who could bodyslam Hulk Hogan, just like the East Germans used to have.  (And those were just their figure skaters!)

Interesting early results on national signing day.  SEC and ACC doing very well while Southern Cal may not make it into the Top 10 for the first time in years.

seems like OSU is doing ok, but other top schools really seem to be struggling a bit.

PBR...

osu is ok...psu had a small # of 'ships to give to they wont rank that high even if they land pryor...michigan has real trouble w/ rich rod and looking like pryor is choosing between osu/psu they have no one and pbr means no one to play qb...mallett transferred to ark. the only qb pbr believes on their roster is some dood 6'6" about 250 hardly a pat white prototype...walkons and jucos are encouraged to contact me-cheat-again's coaching staff...alabama has had a HUGE haul today they have pulled 21 4/5 star recruits....a team to watch is unc, butch davis is getting recruits there and he will turn that program around. he is a very good college coach and has a lot of success turning around bad programs

pbr -

good points.

tgp is a bit concerned his other alma mater (SC) isn't performing as well as expected.  perhaps coach carroll has over-recruited a bit in the last couple of years (RB is crazy deep) so kids are shying away from LA b/c they have a safer chance at starting elsewhere?

need to find a couple of OL and a TE to back fill Freddie Davis.  a couple of additional WRs would help as well.

PBR...

good lord 'sc still needs wr? you took hazleton from psu last year!!! where its really tough is in the southeast yes there are lots of players but there are alot of good programs and several up and comers like s. carolina w/ spurrier and unc w/ butch davis and saban at 'bama....teams like fsu/florida/lsu are going to have a much harder time recruiting now. as will carroll w/ neuheisel/norm chow at ucla....norm chow can develop qb's and pbr expects some top cali qb's to head to ucla now instead of 'sc....'sc had one of their rb's call psu about transferring back and basically joepa told him to stick it he hung psu out last year on signing day telling psu all along he was coming then bailed on LOI day and headed to 'sc....

realistic

Middle School Bans Intentional Farting

http://knox.villagesoup.com/rewrite/108448.htm

KS wants to know how they will determine if a fart is intentional or not.

That's an easy one.....

They know it's intentional when the offender makes this face immediately after committing the crime-

Pep has met many prospective Habitatters in the past few weeks, students who are considering joining the 30-student team that will build a house in Deland, FL during Spring Break March 10-14. One such prospect, after attending a meeting, informed Pep that she would not be going. The Australian woman (studying abroad) told Pep there were too many guys involved and that she had never really been around more than two guys at any one time. Pep, thinking she was considering the four days on the road in tight quarters on the University's 33-passenger bus, suggested she'd certainly be troubled by the guys' uncontrolled flatulence. Perhaps Pep should push for prohibition of intentional pharting on the bus..... but then, what fun is that?

KS recommends fighting it off with mass quantities of PBR and JD.
