JT's formula for a better country.  None of these are completely JT's idea.  Other smart people thought of them first.

1) President must have line item veto. Many State governors have it. Several legal scholars believe the Constitution gives the President this implicit item veto, but no President has ever exercised it.  A President with a set of rocks should just do it and bring it before the courts.

2) The Federal Government cannot spend more than x% of GNP.

3) Force government departments, agencies, and programs to justify their existence. Give wasteful ish the Milton treatment

4) Make it legal to taser Ted Kennedy, Nancy Pelosi, John Kerry, Barbara Boxer and those of their ilk whenever they pander their liberal pablum.

5) actually a secondary to 4, also legal to taz any completely right-wing wack jobs who want to turn the US into a facist state.  IE Rush Limbaugh, Bill O'Reilly etc.

And Tazings should be public and broadcast on all major networks just like the State of the Union speech.

O'Reilly is just a phony.  No spin zone is exactly spin.  JT prefers Hannity and Levin over Rush.

Honestly, PG can't listen to any of the political media... It's all spin no matter which side you are on.
