As predicted, the 'Gro family banked on Georgetown...Georgetown?  I don't know what you're smoking but i'll pass.

<yawn>

3 words: Patrick Ewing Junior.

I think I have Gtown in the final in my "high risk" bracket (can't check from work) but the other bracket is mostly "low risk" favorites.

pbr has gtown going down in the elite eight to his national champion kansas sorry gro....

TGP is pissed K-State KO'd his SC Trojans (well, the refs had a lot to do with it too).  Would have loved to see Belmont pull the upset, but after getting every pick right (save SC which F'd TGP's bracket up pretty well), figures TGP lost one of his deep run candidates.

Perhaps, but a lot of guys TGP knows (including FUCLA fans) picked USC over K-State.  They just came out flat and just plain stunk.

I just have a hard time accepting USC on the basketball court.  They are so nasty in football and baseball that basketball just has never settled with me.  And Beasley is by far the best player in the country on a sucky team.  He can win games on his own and its kind of scary.

You know what, I think USC kind of got screwed in this one.  Although they might not have deserved to have been a 6 seed, Kansas St. was much better than the low 11 seed that they got.  They should have been an 8 or 9 easy.

Kansas St was the easy pick of the night IMO.

And Drake lost.  I hate that guy.

The rivers here in Des Moines are running a full foot higher with the tears following that loss.

In a way, KR is kind of glad they lost because the Iowegians were treating this Drake season as the second coming of the Jesus despite the fact they only beat 1 ranked team all season in Butler and they were 1-1 in their only other games against NCAA tournament teams (lost to St. Mary's [#10 in the South] and beat Cornell [#14 seed in the South]).
Now accepting new patients. All bills must be paid in scotch shortly after any services rendered.  Sorry TDT, no problems below the waist.

Discovered by the Germans in 1904, they named it San Diego, which of course in German means a whale's vagina.

Gro drank the drake and USC kool aid in one bracket. Had them both winning 2 games.

JU has Uconn winning it all in one of LDs brackets.  Uconn's Jeff Adrain is a onetime protege of JU back on the mean streets and backyard b-ball courts of Brookline, MA.  That's right, Jeff Adrain has a little taste of LLPP in him at all times.

My condolences on your bracket... Florida Evans also bet the farm on UConn, let's see her reaction.

TGP was drinking with his buddies from the office and watched in disbelief as USD between my hometown Huskies.  First loss ever for Calhoun in the 1st round and to a team that barely made the tourney.  Zaga probably should have beaten the Torreos in the WCC tourney but blew it.  And UConn pays the piper.
