Good night for the Landmark as the conference goes 4-1 on opening night with wins by Catholic, Juniata, Lycoming and Scranton. The lone setback was Goucher dropping a close one to Stevenson. Catholic stomped a good Lynchburg team out of the ODAC. Lynchburg just played D1 Queens and actually led in the 2nd half. Nice to get road wins from Lycoming and Juniata.

Do we have a new Landmark basektball fan on the board?

I think he posted a few times last season; may be a Susque fan.

I am. My son is a senior for the River Hawks so I've been following the board for four years.

I watched him play in the conference final 2 seasons ago @ Catholic when Scranton played there in the women's final later that day. I live not far from where he played high school ball(WJ) in the Magruder area.

Never understood why Nick didn't get more playing time last season or Spratt and Brown this season.

Also what was a scary moment at Moravian last night, the game was stopped for an extended period of time as a Moravian student had a medical emergency. There was a stretcher brought in for the student. Prayers for a speedy recovery!

Good problem to have when you are winning. Guys needing more minutes off the bench. That was an impressive road win. Might have a team a year ahead of schedule in the Electric City!

I wondered what the delay was; I was following live stats(play-by-play) at the time and saw the extended delay.

Real test will be Saturday 12/6 @ Susquehanna! No matter what team Danzing(Bessior also had problems in that sand box)brings in or what team Frankie has it is a hard place to win especially for the Purple/White/Gray. For some reason Frankie loves beating Scranton, hopefully this weekend changes that.I am very surprised of the start for the men and how  young this team is. Keep the momentum going and good luck

I'm not sure what I waz looking at I thought it was at Susquehanna but yes at Juniata.Should be another place that is hard to win at. Has anyone seen Etown play yet and if so how good are they?

ronk

Etown had a good win @ Drew. The Landmark hasn't been this close top to bottom in many years. Even Catholic at the top isn't that much better than the rest, talent-wise, but their coach seems to get them playing closer to their ability than the rest of the conference.
