You are correct, sir.

Murvul and Mara-vul are both accepted.  Yankees and the guy that does MC and MHS' PA on gamedays are the only people that say Mary-ville.  He takes great pride in being the only one in East Tennessee to say it wrong.  I think he's both an English teacher and a contrarian.  Think of Louisville, KY mixed with Maryland.  Most people would say Loo-a-vul and everyone says Mara-lund, not Mary-land.

I used to have vanity plates that read MURVUL.  I would renew the tags, but my wife's demand for JMU plates trumped me.  I got the truck, she got the plates...

A great weekend for the playoffs.

LaGrange made a statement.

TUTx edged HSU and we will see how the rematch goes with Berry. TUTx seems a much better team at the end of the season. (Rack one up to good coaching.)

RMC was handled soundly by John Carroll who catches Mount Union in the next round.

UMHB still seems in the Top 7 in the region, but that 7th team is still uncertain
