Brockport Hobart tied 14-14 at half. Brockport scores late TD to tie. Andrews continues to be a thorn in Hobart's side, always a threat to break one. Hobart fell for Brockport's ole "pooch punt" out of their offensive set on 4th down where the QB punts it. Looks like Hobart played straight D and had no one to return it> It rolled to the 2. Hobart was way backed up and tried 3 shotgun passes I think and failed to move the ball much. Punted and gave up a good return to Brockport...and "voila" Brockport was right on their porch and punched it in to tie.

Agree Utes...Ithaca up 7-0, both teams offense not getting much done.  Cascione 2 for 12 for only 25 yds. with 22 of that on a screen. Shafer not much better 7/16 for 101yds with most of that coming on a 40yd pass to set up the only score. Union has had great field position and has done little to nothing. Not much to get excited about here, sadly.

Brockport scores for 14-14 tie.Hobart played better in first quarter , Brockport won second quarter..... Andrews is a solid back ,also refs seem to be Brockport alumni (although they are not running for Andrews, so giving credit, but Harper really is a big loss as he is a tough run stopper and good on screens)...the second half Hobart gets the ball , the offense needs to keep scoring because I think containing Andrews is tough as he finds ways to bounce outside or get yardage on screens...contain,contain,contain...GO BART ... .....you will need to earn this one as Brockport is E8 tough

Yea, the problem with both these teams in my opinion is that they are both too small up front to run power offenses, and not quick enough to run true spread offenses.  Both teams will need good play action, and I think IC has the edge in the passing game and that should be the edge to hopefully win the game for them.

Union should try some play action from some of those I formations they ran pretty well in the 2nd quarter.

Frickin Union punter with another 50 yard punt into the endzone.  IC ball at the 20.

Union's RBs also dropping 2 easy first down catches today, not helping out things with the new QB.

IC almost gets some nice deep passes but Union breaks them both up.  IC punts to midfield, Union ball around the 50.

Union with it's best drive of the day mixing up mostly runs with some nice throws.  Has to kick a FG though as they get stuffed 3 times inside the 10.

Wow. Cragg should fire himself as Special Teams coach. Fooled twice on pooch punts. Hitting the Brockport returner early for a penalty. And then the coup de grace, trying a fake punt on your on 1 yard line and failing. Terrible. Basically handing Brockport a TD. I thought Hobart was smarter than that. But then Cragg is a state school guy (slippery rock).

Wolfgang makes another horrible decision and throws an INT in the redzone and Union returns it to midfield. 

Union's defense is too good to make mistakes like that.  Run the ball or throw it away.
