Since it does down as a tie it might be enough for Hobart to stay in at large territory, but they're going to have to sweat it out.
Amazing game.  2nd half Hobart was a top 10 team.  Nice to see them back in form. They're going to need it if npi swings their way.  Going to be a long week, though...

Congrats to Skidmore on persevering over Hobart. Hobart seemed to have the momentum after scratching and clawing back to send the game to OT. Hobart had to go to their #2 goaltender for PKs after starter was injured in the game. But watching two PKs go high was deadly.Hopefully the NPI is enough to get in, if not they will be kicking themselves for the end of season struggles.

Hobart only dropped from 29 to 32 as it's recorded as a tie not a loss. Barring chaos elsewhere this shouldn't wreck them.

It's going to be a loooonnngg week for Hobart watching movement around the bubble which lately has been ~31-33 on the NPI list. They will be rooting for SLU to win the conference because if SLU takes an at-large big for NCAA it could push Hobart out.

I think Ithaca's only chance for NCAAs is to secure the AQ position (I don't think they could improve their NPI enough to get an at-large bid).

SLU is probably good for NCAA even if they lose to Skidmore but that would likely drop them far enough down NPI to make for an uncomfortable week of waiting (not to mention back to back L's to finish the season would be a huge disappointment).

Never followed Hobart soccer but I'm rooting for them/yall to get into NCAA; I was a big fan of Statesmen lacrosse back at the end of their D3 heydays and had a lot of fun at their summer lacrosse camps.

If Hobart soccer gets in,  you deserve some swag for the support. We should have stayed D3 in lax, but if we did switch to D3 the Ll is uber competitive but would be great competition.

As far as I can tell the cut line for at large right now is 39.  A SLU loss against Skidmore drops them to about 21 in NPI. Won't be any waiting, they are a lock. Oneonta losing to Cortland today also drops them right below Hobart so they've got one big result that has already gone their way.
