Is red becoming the new purple?

  • Just the 2nd time in the last 29 playoffs there will be no purple in the Stagg Bowl (2023 also all red)
  • No purple teams made the semifinals for the 2nd time in the last 33 playoffs (also 2023)
  • In the last three playoffs there have been 6 red teams in the semifinals and two each year while there has been just 1 purple (Mount Union 2024)
