Trinity (14-2-4) were last season's regular-season and conference championship winners, advancing to the second round where they lost in OT to Cal Lutheran.  Rhodes (13-4-2) were runners-up in both categories, receiving an at-large bid and also advancing to the second round where they lost 0-2 to Emory.  Sewanee (10-2-4) were third in regular season before being upset in the first round of the SAA championships by Southwestern. 

Southwestern and Millsaps move to the SCAC next season.
