Larry Kehres never left Mount because his sense of loyalty is second to none. The man is loyal to his family, his friends, and Mount Union. This trait elevates him to a special class of men, and must be respected. Mount Union and its fans benefitted from this.

Casenheiser had a problem with quick guards. He was picked and frustrated by the quickness of Wilmington and Heidelberg, and in the tourney. When he does get on a streak, he is amazing, however, we did not see that against those quick opponents. Laurich will battle you all night long. He is not,IMO, as talented as many he faced, but outworked many. His free throw shooting is suspect. I hope he stays at Mount.

You cannot beat the Sisters of the Poor with 20 turnovers...Our guards have driven into trouble in the lane all season and the results were always predictable, more negative than positive, especially today.
8 TO's by our guards in the first half, a shock for most Mount fans. When you provide 16 points on turnovers it is too much to overcome. A really depressing end to a wonderful season. Best news is that only graduating three, Moore may check on eligibility for another year, he is the best athlete on the floor. Weekly will be beastly, and the lanky kid from Green improved every game. Dunbar will be a force, and our inside game will be as good as anyone this side of Illinois. I'm looking forward to it.

Is there streaming available for the D3 tourney? If so, how do I get it. I am tech challenged, but I gotta see the Raiders.

Is there any information as to whether Flosports will cover OAC tourney games?

Otterbein kept throwing in 3's from everywhere, but the Princes held on for their biggest win in years. Congrats to them. I fear that the Berg win will cost Mount or Otterbein an invitation to the dance. It makes sense to cut Otterbein as Mount beats them twice and they lost the tourney. Would be nice for three in the NCAA, but I don't think the conference has the weight to carry this. We will see. The Mount loss was devastating as they lost a potential for three more home games, the final, and perhaps hosting the first round. Good luck to the Raiders, hopefully you get the tourney tap and it is close enough for us fans to attend.

The week off will give Hamilton time to heal. He is key, IMO, for a tourney run. Allows for Casenheiser to roam and get shots. Dunbar has proven to be a beast when he is in there and provides some "juice" as he calls it. Fuline has definitely made himself a near legend in the basketball history of Mount, I only hope we can keep him for years to come. Perhaps he should receive some NIL funds...hah

Hopefully the brass at the OAC is tuning in on the Flosports streaming. Time to find an alternative for next year, perhaps...

Etta is facing pains from a coaching change, I believe they will right the ship in the near future. Wilmington coming to Mount today, They have proven a pain in the rear for Mount every year, hope we jump on them and keep them down. The twin brothers are very talented and can light you up.

Vaden may have another year of eligibility. I do not believe he played his freshman year at Mount. Something to look into.. He has come a long way and if he keeps improving, he could get a look from some professional teams in Europe... That is a great mention that Fuline has 8 of the 9, 20 wins seasons in Mount history, and was the covid year 20 wins? They got pulled off the floor while warming up to play Wittenberg to go to the sweet 16. THAT team could have won it all.

A classic in Westerville. A defensive masterpiece. Both teams were aggressive, physical and left it all out on the court. When the Raiders play this defense, they are tough to beat, but Otterbein was up to it. Refs let them play and the guards got mauled all day, but stayed strong. I thought Ott did a fantastic job of taking away the "3" and we struggled to get an open trifecta. This kept them in the game. Not many subs for Mount, but those who played were excellent. Taylor is and will become more special in the future. His quickness is like a cobra, and he gets off the floor faster than anyone, with an amazing vertical. Collier has shown his value, Vaden makes a difference, and Dunbar plays his rear off with some amazing assists as well as a fine shot. I was remarking to one in the know about Mount's strong season and roster, and he said, "Just wait til next year." WOW! The future is bright. I hope we are paying Fuline enough to keep him from looking bigger.

Who do you call about the Flosports feeds? These commercial runs in the middle of action are deplorable. I had at least 7 in the second half of the Mount-Marietta game. A few of the commercials came back to time outs. It was nuts, and not what we pay for.

I would love to see if Mike Elder at Avon is close to retirement from the school system, and perhaps we could lure him back to Mount Union. He is a super coach and great guy. He or Kappas would be perfect Head Coach material in the future.

The smug NCC head coach looked like a deer in headlights at the end of the game. He wasted two timeouts and seemed confused as to what to do. The River Falls QB was the difference, what a game! Spencer lost a previous Stagg with a dumb decision on a two point try, and this time he did not know how to handle being behind. The DE deflection and pick was the play of the season. Congrats to WRF. And KUDOS to Pat for his prediction!!
