Thank you BigMark for the preview. I share your interest in the UWEC situation. They always seem to have a young team and I wonder if they retain guys as well as some programs. I admit that I haven't taken the time analyze their rosters. Maybe this is their breakthrough year. What is the status of their plan for an on campus facility ? I hope they stay at Carson, as it is my favorite WIAC venue.

The La Crosse Tribune interviewed Sam Grieger and reports that he was recruited by D1 UWGB, St. Thomas and North Dakota State. He also visited D2 UW Parkside. The NIL offer from GB was described as "a little bit." I gather that this means it was less than one might have expected. In the end, Mr. Grieger wanted a competitive program in which he would fit and felt UWL checked all the boxes. He also likes that his family can easily get to his games. Mr. Grieger is more bullish about the Eagles' chances at making a deep tourney run than
I am and I hope he is as good a prognosticator as he is a scorer. Lastly, kudos to the
Tribune for covering this story. Local coverage of D3 sports has deteriorated and we should be grateful when an outlet expends resources on it.

Congrats indeed to the unbeaten Warhawks and to BW. Has anyone swept the slate before?

UWL has posted a tough 2026 slate. Hardin Simmons will visit, with trips to Saint John's and D2 Wayne State. Oshkosh and Whitewater follow. Better be ready to go.

Eagles fall short 73 to 68. Massey is pretty smart.
