ScotsFan is at 999 right now...I wonder if he knows about our little celebration room (or, for thatmatter, his post total).   ??? :)

Funny thing happened yesterday.  I was posting my 1,000th post and I thought it was fitting that I made it a Holiday wish for everyone.  Silly me had forgotton about the little tradition of posting milestones posts in here. :P  I did receive a reminder in a personal message but, alas, I didn't check the message until it was already too late and I had already made the 1,000 post plateau. :(

But then, as I awoke this morning to check in on the board, I found my post total to be magically back to 999?! ;D  I can't really expain it.  It's almost as if Santa himself came in and subtracted one post that has allowed me the joy of posting my 1,000th post in here so that I didn't break the milestone tradition! ;)  I guess it was an early Christmas present!!! :)

In all seriousness, thanks to Pat and everyone else behind the scenes at d3hoops and d3football for keeping up such great sites.  And here's wishing everyone in here a safe and joyous Holiday season.  Happy Holidays everyone!!!

Coach C's glacial posting pace has brought him to 998 posts.  I hope he finds his way in here two posts from now so we can properly celebrate the achievement.  IMHO there is no poster with a higher "content per post" ratio.  :)

Have a Happy New Year!

Coach C

Well I already wasted my 1000th on the morons in the NWC room.  Sorry guys.  It's been a busy year and I have not had much to say recently.

Thanks for this room.  I had no idea it existed!

Happy Holidays!

Coach C, the way the post counter works is that you can delete a couple of "moronic" posts and "go backwards".

On the other hand, the post counter just keeps on going, so most would not know that this wasn't your 1000th post!

Congratulations! :)

Coming from the reigning champion of posting, I am very humbeled by you congratulations.

When I passed 500 PMs received back in the beginning of Dec, I wanted to post on this board... so a belated woo to me for a completely absurd milestone... of course, I'm now almost at 600, so maybe I should have just waited for 666 or something.  :D

I haven't posted here in a while.  Is 5575 an acceptable milestone?

Nice jab. I love you too. :P

I was thinking we should start celebrating the "Days Online" milestones... for example....

Warren is currently at 67d 11h 18m online... when he passes 100 days online, surely he deserves recognition? :D

How does that work, by the way?  Does it measure how long you have the message board up on your browser?

Also, it wasn't supposed to be a dig, I just haven't posted here in a while.  I'm actually quite impressed with 500 messages received although I delete most of mine so I will never know my total.

Also, now that you're back, is Pat going to take your second "phantom" handle off the posting list or do you get to leap from 4000 to 8000 posts without having to actually write them?

When he passes twenty years online, Pat will present him with a gold watch. ;)

Digital watch.  ;)

They make gold digital watches?   ??? :P

It tracks how long the site page is open, but it goes inactive after 20minutes of inactivity... theoretically. Whatever inactivity means.
