That's what we've been missing at QB!  Maloney with the long run on zone/pull.

is Dartt just allergic to scoring before halftime? I'm so baffled by the wasted possession before half. WE had like 35 seconds at our own 45 yard line and don't even try to get in field goal range?

I just returned from the Mount Union game. Wow, do we have a quarterback! Poised, accurate, a bigger kid than I expected, great runner! Mount Union is so fast at RB and WR, Wheaten couldn't keep up. Good-looking offense.Think of sophomore Bill Borchart (moment of silence as we speak of The Great Number 7)  but a little bigger. Raiders scattered far and wide should know the Jolly Roger was visble at first light. Good crowd on a perfect day.

Just saw the Mount final score.  What happened in the 4th qtr, foot off the gas?

Nobody can turn a 30 pt fourth quarter lead into a one score game quite like our good ol Geoff

In a word, yes.

Anyone willing to venture a guess as to how many non 4th down field goal attempts the Buckeyes would have tried today if they played "Dartt ball"?
Maybe Ryan Day could have a little
tete-a-tete with Coach Dartt about why it is necessary to keep the accelerator to the floor the whole game and let their 11 stop our 11, whether it is the second, third or even fourth string players.

Flosports with server issues tonight.  Not a fan.

I was unable to watch the game today.  Tracked on live stats as I could.  When it was 37-7 I stopped following.  Then a buddy texted me that I needed to follow again.  Not exactly what I expected.  Obviously Wheaton is tough.  The best team they'll play in the regular season but that 4th qtr is not good on paper.

But Maloney?  Good grief!  I'm jacked for the future.

In other news...
WOW! ... Wilmington College put up 59 points on the Big Woo!
Do you remember when that was the Quaker's entire offensive output for the season?!?!
