That's all that I'll say about it.

Adding a school, eh?

sounds like it'll be from Wisconsin

I considered adding a clue, but ultimately decided against it. I don't want to be accused of giving away the store. I just wanted people to be aware that something big was up, and to frequently check cciw.org (or, better yet, D3sports.com, because I know for a fact that Pat will be on this immediately like white on rice) over the next few days.

Well that narrows it down to a handful since it's safe to assume the WIAC schools won't be leaving for CCIW.

My money is on Concordia-Wisconsin as I believe they're already an associate member for one or more other sports; not to mention, they are geographically close to Carroll and Carthage.

I believe the only other WI schools are in region 5.

You and washedupcard are forgetting about Wisconsin Lutheran. Per Bob's tweeted 'W' clue, WLC qualifies twice by that rubric -- name of school and state within which it's located. Or "add more W" could be misdirection on Bob's part; he wants you to think "Wisconsin", but he actually means "Westminster". Yes, Westminster (MO) is in a different region in football (it's in the same region as the CCIW in other sports), but D3 would realign the Blue Jays to the CCIW's region for football if it switched over from the UMAC. (A team called the Blue Jays and a team called the Bluejays; this would be more vexing than having two teams called the Vikings.) Or Bob could be implying that Webster is going to join the league and add football.

Or maybe it is all about W = Wisconsin, rather than the name of the school, and he's talking about Ripon or Lawrence or Beloit or St. Norbert or Lakeland instead of CUW.

Or maybe Bob's wrong, and I was talking about something else.

Man, this is fun. ;D

Concordia University Wisconsin (CUW) doesn't qualify for a double "W"??

Misdirection on Bob's part? I think I just read a master class in misdirection. ;D

I texted my dad Q's tweet, and his first response was "Wahpeton?" (His hometown, about an hour south of Fargo).

Incidentally, there is a college there, but unless the North Dakota State College of Science has suddenly decided they have the resources to expand from two year programs to four year programs and also have the budget to make the leap from the NJCAA to D3, it's probably just a pipe dream.

(Also they'd be trading having to deal with one DuPage County bird national championship football team with another.)

A reverse-reading, right-to-left acronymic 'W'? Fiendishly clever, Holmes!

Isn't Wiscoabash the Pottawatomie word for "land of the wild rumor"?

Lucas, tell your dad thanks for the best laugh I've had all week!

Good thing I wasn't drinking anything when I saw "Wahpeton?", or I would've had one heck of a spit-take.

NCC week 1 preview is out. Interesting that it doesn't include a 2 deep like usual, they are keeping everyone guessing on who is starting at QB on Saturday

If it is (W)abash, then for the sake of the Monon, DePau(w) is coming along too. Their longest travel destination in CCIW would be shorter than 1/2 of their NCAC rivals.

Adding CU(W) could then bring it back to an even #
