TICKETS: Should Linfield be selected to host a second-round playoff game, Saturday, Nov. 24, at noon, please observe the following ticket purchasing guidelines:
•Linfield season ticket holders who have already confirmed orders for their customary seats in the covered grandstand are asked NOT to call to confirm. Season ticket holders who requested tickets and paid for tickets on their credit cards may pick up their tickets on Wednesday only.

•Linfield faculty, staff and retirees may purchase reserved seat tickets, both covered and uncovered, starting at 8 a.m. Tuesday.

•Remaining unsold covered reserved tickets go on sale to the general public at 1 p.m. Tuesday in the athletic department offices, located near the intersection of Lever Street and Linfield Avenue. Tickets may be purchased through 5 o'clock Tuesday and again on Wednesday from 8 a.m. to noon, and 1 until 5 p.m.

•Due to the Thanksgiving holiday, the ticket office WILL BE CLOSED both Thursday and Friday.

•Phone orders will be accepted up until Wednesday at 5 p.m., however, those requesting tickets in person will be given priority. Linfield fans unable to pick up tickets in person are advised to call 503-883-2421 to reserve tickets.

This game was like the old Linfield-PLU rivalry of the 1980s and early 90s.   Great to see it return.

Here is a quote from Coach McEnroe's (CLU) in reference to how physical NCC is after yesterday's game:  "NCC vs. Linfield will be an absolute bloodbath, have the ice machines and ibuprofen ready!  Good luck to both squads, those are two well-coached teams that both have a legitimate shot at the national title."

Oh! And BTW, one can not play scores comparisons between Linfield, CLU and NCC...Does not make for an accurate argument as to who is going to win the Linfield vs. NCC battle.  I remember when SJU beat MUC for the national championship.  MUC was blowing all their opponent out and SJU was playing most of their games close.  But we all saw SJU put MUC in the back seat.

Nice to be playing in the Catdome for Game #2.....if the Cats play the game they are capable of....I like our chances.  If they play like yesterday, well not so much!
