Manion scored on a 37-yard interception return in the second quarter at East Texas Baptist for a 24-6 halftime lead, and registered 14 tackles (nine solo) during the game, including 2.5 tackles for losses (one sack). He averaged 6.5 yards per carry in wet conditions after the game started one hour and 35 minutes late due to the weather. Willamette rushed for 330 yards on 62 carries during the game."

"As the team's punter, Wyman averaged 38.1 yards on seven punts with a long of 49 yards. He also took six kickoffs and averaged 56.2 yards. Five of his kickoffs were caught inside the 10-yard line before being returned. In addition, he registered one assisted tackle on a Willamette kickoff."
