raiderguy, I think I was more impressed with your team's win this year than any of the others I've seen them win in the past. I thought the two teams looked very evenly matched, and yet MUC found a way to win once again. It's hard to beat a team that has that much talent year in and year out, let alone one that also has the experience of so many years of long playoff runs and titles. And then you throw in that Coach, too. Pretty nice combination. I guess that's why the Purple Raiders have won 8 out of 13.
A packed student section behind an end zone cheering on guys they will actually see in class on Monday is almost as cool as The Streak.

Pat....I'm sure there is more than one person involved in the Hansen Poll listed above, but in any case, what is it that you don't agree with about the poll? It seems fairly reasonable/logical to me. It's not really that far off from the d3football.com final poll in some respects.

Pat Coleman

That's nice that you're sure ... but you're wrong.

As for what's wrong with it, well, Capital is too low, Wesley and Bridgewater too high.

....I can see your point. I like the top 3 on both polls though...   ;D

This is such a lousy time of year for young people to die tragically.

We just found out that my favorite cousin's son was killed in a traffic crash. Like cawcdad said, it makes you realize how fragile life is, and how lucky you are to have your family.

Merry Christmas to all the D3 posters.

Thanks to Pat for having this site and allowing us this forum.

Thanks for the sentiments, cawcdad, and for the Hawaiian holiday wishes.

Very impressive, Ralph! Are you part Hawaiian, or merely the spelling bee winner?

O.K.......... I'm just going to throw this out there............

Am I the only one who was surprised to not see Brandon Hazenberg on the All American team? Somewhere?

He was Mr. everything for the Cats this year...Off  or Def didn't matter, when it needed done he was the guy....IMHO

And Please I understand how many great players their are in the country, I just thought he was like a Blake Elliot from SJU a few yrs back.
Only at a D3 football game could you have 2 seats on the 50 yard line (2 rows behind bluenote) and have an obstructed view!
I love D3 Football!!!
