WARHAWKS struggle at the plate, lose a three run lead and then walk it off 4-3 in the 11th on a two out walk to Jackson, his third of the day, followed by an RBI double from McVay.  On to the championship.  Eisenbarth gets the win in relief.

3-0 Day for the WIAC on the first day of Regionals.

UWO beats Chicago 34-8
La Crosse beats Bethany Lutheran 4-2
Whitewater beats host Adrian 8-6

It was a second straight 3-0 Day for the WIAC, which improves their overall Regional record to 6-0 this season.

-Whitewater defeated WashU 4-3
-La Crosse defeated CMS 8-6
-UWO defeated GAC 15-10

All three WIAC teams get two chances to win just a single game tomorrow and advance to Super Regionals.

1. This is only Tomasiewicz's second trip to Regionals in his 11 years at UWO.

2. The last time he led a UWO team to Regionals, there were in the same position as they will be tomorrow... That resulted in getting "double dipped" by Concordia Chicago up in Duluth.

Three things: Titians still have a game to win to advance.  I'm tempted to delete my previous post. I don't think they'll have any problem doing that but I'm not sure what the heck I was thinking when I posted it.

Whitewater rolls through the Adrian, Michigan regional 3-0 and 4-1 today over Adrian in 2:15.

Now will Whitewater actually be able to host the St. Peter regional survivor, that's the big question.

Ben Lee with a superb start covering seven innings and giving up just one unearned run.

Hagen comes in with the bases loaded and two outs in the 9th and gets a groundball to end the threat.

WIAC improves to 7-0

Make that a quick 7-2...

Chicago knocks off UWO 7-3 and CMS defeats La Crosse 11-2 forcing a pair of "winner take all" games to advance to Super Regionals.

Things got a tad hairy in the ninth as Adrian was able to load the bases before Hagan got the final out and preserved the 4-1 win.  Ben Lee got the start and threw a solid 7 inning, 5 hit and 4 strike out effort. Lee really had a rhythm going. Hopper had a pair of hits and rbi while Paden and McVay also drove in runs.  All the runs in the game were scored by the third inning.

UWO gets a CG from Walters and knocks off Chicago 10-2 to advance to Super Regionals.

In the process it guarantees a WIAC team at the World Series again as Whitewater and UWO will square off in Super Regionals next weekend.

La Crosse drops their second game of the day to CMS today, this time 6-2, which ends their 2025 season...

WIAC finishes 8-3 in Regional Play this year, after starting 7-0.
