Both UMW and CNU make it to the Sweet 16! The UMW game, which I attended along with 1200 other fans, was closer than the final score indicated. UMW was down by one at the half and looked out of sorts. Coach Kahn did his usual excellent job of "coaching them up" for the second half and the rout was on. Next week at home against Wisconsin-Lacrosse for UMW and CNU at Randolph Macon(!).

What a win for CNU! Wow. I not only missed the game in person, I couldn't even watch on line from Florida. A lot going on but I was able to open the horrible ncaa live stats and somewhat follow the game. What can be done about their live stats? They're ridiculously horrible!

Now it's time for UMW to get it done tonight!

I watched the CNU game last night. Great game although both teams were dreadful from three. CNU had a 14 point lead at half but RMU caught up with big opening second half. CNU hung on throughout and got a big win (and upset) at Macon, which was packed. Go Eagles tonight!

This won't help for the rest of the tourney, but most schools still use their sidearm stats, so if you can figure out how to enter that manually, you can still follow along the old way.

You don't have to figure out how to enter that manually. Just go to the D3hoops.com scoreboard. That's the link we use if it's available!

Great win for UMW! Close almost the entire way and LaCrosse fought hard. Two C2C headed to the Elite 8 and no ODAC teams, sorry, not sorry, Lol.

I think that's what I did. I don't normally go to ncaa.com. But maybe not. I'll blame it on age.

Congrats to CNU and UMW. Could it be an all C2C championship game? Greek Tragedy, over on the 2026 Tournament board, thinks not. He's predicting a Trinity vs Emory final.

Who knows. Once you get to this stage, it's anybody's game!

Interestingly, of the 2 C2C teams in the final four....there's only 1 senior. That's Colin Hines for CNU.

I was at the CNU game and rooting for them. They fought hard but Emory is GOOD. UMW will have its hands full on April 5th but they had an amazing win over defending champ Trinity. UMW was down by 16 in the first half, down by 11 at half, down by 7 with under 4:00 to play and down by 1 with :20 yet...pulled it out. Go Eagles!

I has one coach out in Fort Wayne make a good case for UMW. He said, "they'll defend Emory better than CNU did and they'll get better shots against Emory than they did against Trinity."

That's a pretty compelling case. I think it's a close one either way.

UMW all the way. Trinity is going to prove to be the harder team to beat.
