Yeah they at-large bids but "Pool C" is so much more intrinsically D3, I am sad to see the term passing into oblivion.

We survived the loss of the "Quality of Wins Index" and I bet we can get over losing Pool C, too. Anything that makes D-III more understandable to the masses is a good thing.

Good point, Pat, although I, too, will miss "Pool C". I'm not going to let my insider status blind me to the larger needs of D3 by clinging to esoteric jargon.
