Good luck to the Godfather.  TDT will be there in spirit.  Hope you are roasted good!!

Bennie: I actually think you prefer toe-pick hockey and your knowledge is equivalent to UST football's recruiting...

KR: Jeezus, Rosie is looking hot these days.  What does a guy have to do to get a babe like her?  You had a pimp hand in college, help a brother out here!!

Well, son, I would recommend you start the same way your mom got the dog to play with you as a child; by tying a porkchop around your neck.

As far as getting her into your room, I'd recomment greasing her hips/rolls and pushing like hell.

To get her to consent, tell her you agree that the US soldiers in Iraq are terrorists and you also enjoy eating lard by the pound.

To make the deed happen, roll her in flour and aim for the wet spot.

As far as getting rid of her after the deed, I know a guy in FL with a flatbed truck and a crane that can lift 10 tons. If you starve her for a day or to, I think you could get her down to that.

Best of luck, feel free to spare us any pics or video of your blubber diving! ;D
Now accepting new patients. All bills must be paid in scotch shortly after any services rendered.  Sorry TDT, no problems below the waist.

Discovered by the Germans in 1904, they named it San Diego, which of course in German means a whale's vagina.

If I were a Sens fan, I would be a little worried about Emery. The pressure on him has got to be intense and it is going to be cranked up even more now that they will be back in Ottawa. Let's not forget that he is only 24. If his teammates don't pick it up, I don't think he will last long out there on the ice virtually by himself. One of his teammates that has impressed me is Anton Volchenkov. Granted, he has only one goal this year so Emery is going to need the other four warm bodies on the ice to do more than take up space. You've got to score to win! ;)

I have to think the move back to Ottawa will be important.  The ice when the Wild played in Anaheim was terribly slow (not that the Ducks' lugs mind that at all), but that the dump-and-chase is difficult to get going when the ice is slow and Ducks' enforcers can bottle up Ottawa's forwards at the blue line.  The faster ice in Ottawa should help allow the Sens' forwards to get around them faster; still, if the Sens' can't force turnovers in the neutral zone and get numbers in the offensive zone, the size of the Ducks will continue to keep the Sens out of the win column.

I still would rather see the Sens win-- only because Ottawa would be total bedlam if they brought home the Cup.  If/when Anaheim does win it, it will be another "ho-hum" thing for Orange County.  It's not like they'll be burning cars or rioting in Compton over the Stanley Cup...

But it's not looking too good right now for the Ottawa Hockey Senators. Tomorrow is a must-win for them, because I just don't see a way that they can win more than one in Anaheim.

I will admit that the science of hockey ice is not my expertise, but I have to wonder if the ice in Ottawa will be all that great right now anyway. It is one thing to be able to maintain the building/ice temp when it -20 degrees in January, it is another to do it when it is 70+ degrees there like it is right now. I remember Calgary having some problems a few years ago when they made their Cup run.

Here is an interesting website about the science of hockey that touches on climate and it's impact on the ice.

My thanks to everyone who attended the swearing-in ceremony and party yesterday. It was one of the best days of my life. Great Johnnie turnout, as would be expected! :D Finsleft, MIACManiac, OAS and Raiderguy, it was an honor to have you there. Great to have Blake E. and Ryan K. along with their brides at the event. My new email address is Michael.Fahey@courts.state.mn.us.

Get to do a job shadow for the next two weeks. Today I will be in conciliation court with the chief judge of the First Judicial District. Probably comparable to watching Judge Judy. ;)

So what would you think about having the Carver County Pork Producers coming up this fall for one of the Stiftungsfestivities and making some pork chops for us? A culinary delight, to say the least.

Thanks again for all the friendships I have made through this website.

Congratulations again, Judge Johnnie Red!!!   :o

Perhaps the funniest thing about this (and the past two Stanley Cup finals) is how the media and some fans make it out to be US vs Canada. How some will cheer for the Sens because Ottawa is in Canada, never mind the fact that the Ducks have more Canadians on their team than the Sens.  8)

That is funny bennie. I hadn't thought about the US/Canada angle.

When Carolina won it I thought it was a little strange because I wondered if the fans knew it was the Stanley Cup and not the Nextel Cup.  :D

They probably were drinking moonshine out of it.  ;D

Damn you, BDB!    I actually watched about ten minutes of the spelling bee last night...

All those lawyers in one place and not even a stink bomb.  Clearly a missed opportunity. :D  Congratulations again, JJR.

Fun times in Shakopee last night! JR, if you can swing it, I would wholeheartedly endorse the CCPP appearance at a game this fall. Damn, those chops were good!!

Some funny moments. Sheriff Bud, who brought his son along as JR's guests at one of the games last year, ripped on the godfather pretty good. Something about most people have a momento or two in their offices but JR's must look like the SJU bookstore. Bud asked, "When ARE you going to graduate?" Then MomJR told about the time as a kid JR filled the fuel oil tank up with the garden hose, and, at age 7, rode his bike out to Grandma and Grandpa's in Lester Prairie. Grandma called Ma and said, "Where's JR?"
Ma said, "He's around here someplace." Grandma replied, "No, he's out here asleep on the rug." :D :D

Good to see OAS, Maniac, Raiderguy, Wickster, Woody, Blake, Tony & Sherry & ??.
All the SJU alums gathered at one point for a photo. Pretty handsome bunch! 8)

Long live The Godfather...

Fins: How was the "Roast"?  Hope JR got his balls busted plenty.  Lord knows he does it on virtually every post to TDT.

Wish I could have made a guest appearance.  It sounds like it was a celebration for a King.  Nobody is more deserving.  Big congratulations from South Fla, JR.

Congrats JR! Wish I could've made it, but instead took in Glencoe-Silver Lake absolutely destroy the Central Raiders in the Sub-section baseball final yesterday. Don't worry JR, they are still breathing in the losers' bracket.

When is MIAC Night at Chaska? I need to put it down so I don't schedule anything that day.

So, in light of this and the story on the front page - when is John going to take the team to Ireland or some other ferign country (Canada even ::)) for a spring game?  Looks like a pretty nice way to get a jump on preparations for the season. 8)

Honorable Judge Johnnie Red,

Once again, hearty congratulations.  I was extremely disappointed I was not able to make it to Shakopee.  I trust The Wick passed on my best wishes to you.

I'm all in on the pork.  I can taste it already. :P

JR - I got a mysterious text from the one and only OAS the other night saying "She's not wearing any panties." He was at your roast and I've got to assume it had something to do with you. Did your daughter happen to be in attendance? You might want to start your first official investigation into how OAS might have procured this nefarious information...

Oh, and congrats :)
I don't hate Duke. I just hate all their players, coaches and fans.

raiderguy

Congratulations again to your highness Judge Johnnie Red.

I particularly liked the story the sheriff told about feeling sorry for JJR because he was driving a car that was held together with duct tape.  He was considering taking up a collection!

Also could anyone spare a quarter for JJR. Apparently JJR has run up quite a bill at the law offices borrowing quarters from the staff.  It was a great roast.

There wasn't a dry eye it the house when they annouced JJR took his oath in his father's robe. Fabulous.

Bring on the chops this fall!!!! If anything could rival the burgers the chops will knock you out. Maybe they could be served in the grand Minnesota tradition.

"Chops on a stick!" ;)
WELCOME TO THE MACHINE!
