Mongo may have been permanantly kicked out of a Mankato bar and received a restraining order in one incident and told the cops to "F off" at a house party in another, but he's got nothing on this guy .

In unrelated news, Frank raided the Red Wing Indians last night. Apparently the control room saw a fat, bald, unhappy man strolling through their gambling hall and decided they'd let him win $400 on the next machine he played...which was quarter slots I believe.

Willy Wonka, my daughter was in attendance Thursday at the swearing-in ceremony and I'm sure she was properly attired. Maybe OAS was referring to Terri Traen of KQRS who made an appearance at the reception/party. I was supposed to hook up with OAS yesterday at Grand Old Day in St. Paul, but he went golfing instead.

MIAC Night at the Chaska baseball park is set for Thursday, July 19 when the Cubs host Apple Valley at 7:30 p.m.

How about the Team Penske guys having their rear wings collapse? 

When Castroneves lost his rear downforce, Helio turned into a helicopter and into the wall. 

Then all eyes were on Hornish's car and that rear wing started to fail a few miles later.

Really strange. The announcers said that Buddy Rice had that happen to him last year but I have never seen it before.

That would be one of several reasons why I don't like Pronger.  Not only was it a stupid move in terms of seriously injuring another player, but the position he has now put his team in. Idiot! Granted, when he is on the ice, even his teammates aren't safe. Let's not forget Selane taking a stick to the face from him earlier in the playoffs and Ryan Smyth getting a puck to the mouth courtesy of Pronger last year!

Nice to hear Oldpa.  I trust you'll be bringing along a healthy supply of Groovy brew...I know many of the Johnnies thoroughly enjoyed your vast stash and diversity of brews at Whitewater last year.  Very few greater things in life than the Stiftungsfestivities on a sunny Saturday fall morning in Collegeville.

Glad I stayed up late on the East Coast for that Twins monkey stomp    .  Wow what a beatdown.  Great night for the city of Anaheim...

Lost 4-3 last time out. Son of BDB got up with bases loaded and popped out.    He was PO'd.    The parents have remained in line. Home game tonight and road game on Thursday against the hated Elk Mound Mounders. 

bennie: Well it's looks like things will end in the Magic Kingdom. Emery stood on his ear again but that second goal looked a little soft. I think you were right when you said he might be getting tired.
