Sag,

Do you hear that sword line from your lady? ;D

Can I say it, Sag?  Please?  I can't wait until you check backonto the boards.

No, not from his lady, Double0

Typical $JU, throwing dollars around for facility improvements. So antithetical to the D3 spirit, I'm ashamed for your school.  :)

It isn't exactly your typical U$T briefcase full of money, but we make due:

It's not the size of the sword, but rather how you handle it.  ;D

Sag,

Do you hear that sword line from your lady? ;D

Negative, DoubleO.
My lady is a Tommie.
Sing us a song, you're the piano man
Sing us a song tonight
Well, we're all in the mood for a melody
And you've got us feelin' alright.

Mr.MIAC

I just happened upon this awesome UST slideshow, which includes some cool football photos.  The thing starts moving pretty fast so you might have to get good at using the pause button.

... leave it to a Tommie to bring the level of discussion down to an exchange of penis joke innuendos.

That is certainly possible; Concordia is a tough matchup.

True, and SJU beat Concordia ;)

Zing!

Re: SJU baseball upgrade... Thank the good lord!  That field is such a dump; in my opinion it was by far the worst overall field in the MIAC as of 2007.  Worst mound, 2nd worst playing surface (behind Midway), worst fencing (I thought I would get tetnis if I hit it), worst batter's eye, no bathrooms, worst stands, worst overall location (plopped, for no apparent reason, in the middle of a large field).  Almost all of the high school fields I played on were better.  If it was a movie down for the Razzie, it would be "Bucky Covington, Born to Be a Star." I truly hated playing there and the Johnnies I know hated it as well.

SO... this is really awesome news that $JU is finally doing something to it - I think the Johnnie baseball program could be solid (with all of the central Minnesota baseball talent to recruit from), and this should only help enhance the Tommie/Johnnie baseball rivalry.

DuffMan,

I have to agree with you..  Having been to both for playoff games CollegeVille beats Downtown
" Minne so ta"  hands down.

Although the Cats are still looking for that first win in Minne So Ta.... Maybe if we can hang on to the ball inside the 5 this could be the year? :)
go Cats
Go big D

Why? Because no one was playing "Dueling Banjos" when you pulled into campus? Sheez.

I thought tailgating was all but completely illegal on grounds owned by our Tommie friends.

The UST Tailgating Guidelines pretty much allow you to exist in Lot M between Loras Hall and the Frey Science and Engineering Center on the south campus... and that's about it.

Was in Lot M for the SJU game with plenty of Saftey/Security around and was never harrassed. I didn't even have to use a red Solo cup. I think they treat it pretty much the same way as they do at SJU, not to mention UST is pretty close to getting their own liquor license.

I will concede, as always, the "scene" is better in Collegeville. However, I will make absolute sure that I drive down from Grand Forks, grill and brew in tow, if the boys from McMinnville find themselves in St. Paul again.

Maybe a oil drum for a good ol' fashioned barrell fire to keep us warm too. Take care of Lewis & Clark and imagine that will be a good possibility.

We will take care of L&C in due time but first we have to kill some rats this week.
