Is TDT around ??

He's on work release, so no internet access at the Anoka County Jail.  ;)
As of now they're on DOUBLE SECRET Probation!

Actually, I think he's been spending some time in New York with big plans and is saving every penny for a trip to Wales.  Pretty much run of the mill, I guess.

Thought he was staying with you for the President's Cup, no?

Was in Lot M for the SJU game with plenty of Saftey/Security around and was never harrassed. I didn't even have to use a red Solo cup. I think they treat it pretty much the same way as they do at SJU, not to mention UST is pretty close to getting their own liquor license.

I will concede, as always, the "scene" is better in Collegeville. However, I will make absolute sure that I drive down from Grand Forks, grill and brew in tow, if the boys from McMinnville find themselves in St. Paul again.

Interesting. After seeing this story from TommieMedia.com last fall, I thought the idea of tailgating in Tommie Territory was all but officially dead.

I'm not sure what you mean about a liquor license. SJU has had one for decades and that has changed nothing.
You think they'll start serving at football games (or, thinking more pragmatically, at certain VIP hospitality tent type functions)?

I know this year they were serving beer at homecoming according to my girlfriend and UST media:
"The university will also sell alcoholic beverages before Saturday's football game. Doug Hennes, vice president of university and government relations, said a permanent liquor license for St. Thomas is in the works. Two public hearings held Sept. 30 and Oct. 6 recommended that the university be allowed the license but under certain conditions. This license will not be decided on until the St. Paul Legislation votes in November.

Until then, St. Thomas will use caterer Complete Beverage Services, which is in charge of obtaining the liquor license for this year's homecoming game. Beer will be sold to of-age game goers on the John P. Monahan Plaza Saturday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m."

He's considering coming for the Cup, but he's got a couple things on that may mean no-go.  Being that the Cup is 9 days away, I reckon he may be caught up and can't make it.  Or I may get an email two days before letting me know he's about to get on the plane.  Either way.  (Johnnies are flexible and friendly like that.  Even when the other Johnnie in question is a Barney.)

Typical $JU, throwing dollars around for facility improvements. So antithetical to the D3 spirit, I'm ashamed for your school.  :)

It isn't exactly your typical U$T briefcase full of money, but we make due:

It's not the size of the sword, but rather how you handle it.  ;D

Sag,

Do you hear that sword line from your lady? ;D

Negative, DoubleO.
My lady is a Tommie.

Atta boy! Climbing the social ladder, huh?

... leave it to a Tommie to bring the level of discussion down to an exchange of penis joke innuendos.

Come on, you put it on the tee...just couldn't resist.

Oz,

The NYC Starbuck's story is a logical explanation for TDT's long absence from posting  8-)

Are you really from Royalton?
I haven't been to Treasure City in a long, long time.

Indeed, Royalton High School class of 2003.

...actually, Treasure City, which is known to the locals as Treasure Sh*tty, is quite the dump. If I ever move back to Royalton, I will buy it and detonate it.

Indeed.  I grew up in Sartell, and we frequently went through Royalton heading to the Brainerd area.  I've been to Treasure $hitty on a few occasions  ;D

On behalf of the City of Royalton and Royaltonians everywhere, we would like to offer you and the rest of the world a sincere apology for the tourist trap that is Treasure $hitty.

Unfortunately, we have no means to compensate you for your lost time and money. Old Mr. Kriesczewski just withdrew the remaining $250 left at Pine Country Bank to pay for a tractor tire.
