TGP-

Does anyone even watch DVD's, HD DVD's or Blu Ray's?  I mean, Reg isn't going to spend $20 bucks on a movie he can watch once and hate.  In fact, Reg has a collection of about 30 of his favorite DVD's (Glen Garry Glen Ross, Pulp fiction, Save the Last Dance, etc) that he has had for like 3 years now and hasn't touched since he watched them the first time.

What, you don't watch Rudy at least once a week?  Oh wait I'm thinking of Audino.

rudy... rudy... RUDY... RUDY!!

p.s. Reg, I know you are busting moves when watching save the last dance.

Two engineering students were walking across a university campus when one said, "Where did you get such a great bike?"

The second engineer replied, "Well, I was walking along yesterday, minding my own business, when a beautiful woman rode up on this bike, threw it to the ground, took off all her clothes and said, "Take what you want."

The first engineer nodded approvingly and said, "Good choice; the clothes probably wouldn't have fit you anyway."

I love it....damn RPI.

President Bush is talking to Donald Rumsfeld as follows....

DR:   Mr. President I have some disturbing news.
GW:  Oh man, this is not what I need right now....what is it?
DR:   Well yesterday in Iraq, 3 Brazilian soldiers were killed.
GW:  Oh God, no!!!!

After a long pause GW says, "I don't even know how many people are in a Brazilian!!!!"

That engineer joke reminds me of another.

A foursome of engineers is golfing behind another group that is moving very slowly and playing most erratically.  They are literally all over the course, slowing play and infuriating the engineers.

Frustrated, they summon the golf marshal and ask him what is up with the sloppy foursome and if he can do something about their poor play.

He explains to the engineers that they are firefighters who responded to a disastrous fire that burned to the ground the 19th hole some years ago.  Tragically, they all lost their sight while fighting the fire but as thanks were given free access to the course anytime they wanted.

The engineers felt chagrined, until one in the group said, "why don't they play at night?"

You just have to love that approach to life - blind golfers playing at night!

Not interested enough.  Danica drives in the IRL.  It's bad enough Toyota cracked into NASCAR.  All hell would break loose if they let a broad behind the wheel.

Which reminds me:

Why couldn't Hellen Keller drive?

Because she was a woman.

Ahhh, she drives fast in a car and makes a bunch of left turns.  Up here in New England we don't care much for auto racing unless one of the drivers looks like Danica.

Hard to believe a guy from New England wouldn't dig "The National Sport of the South" (yes, I recognize that the some history books would dispute the use of a derivative of the word 'nation' in the preceding expression).

Actually, there was a story about Jimmie Johnson (the driver, not the gelled up coach) on ESPN today in which he said he bought an apartment in NYC because no one knows who he is and he can have some privacy...which leads to the obvious Harry Hagge quote:

He's from California.

HH: You mean he's a yankee driver?

No, their not yankees in California, their nothing.

HH: You said it.

So JU is driving around town this morning in the pouring rain, and I notice all these dog walkers that put these raincoats on their dogs.  I am going to bet my soul that no dog wants to wear a raincoat in the rain, or a sweater in the cold.  I am proposing LLPP rule 4.5

4.5-No LLPP member shall ever place a raincoat, sweater, wintercoat, vest,  turtleneck or long sleeve shirt on their pets while walking them.  Those caught violating this section shall be punished by a fine of no more than $2.

RULE AMMENDED.....
4.5.2; Animals in the above section are allowed to wear "gear" of specific upstate New York division 3 football teams, and/or "gear" with the following slogans.

(a) "Free Holladawg"
(b) "cash is king"
(c) "that's how I roll"

4.5.3; The following items are still banned from these dogs, regardless of school or slogan:

(a) sweatervests or bowties for Union College "gear"
(b) pencil pocket protectors for RPI "gear"

what if said vest, turtleneck, long sleeve shirt, is supporting said LLPP members team or school at said event

Then dog and owner should each be the receiptiant of this:

Gro supports this proposal but would reduce the fine to $1 if the dog wore a "Free Holladawg" shirt... all fine money would go towards the Holladawg memorial fund.
