still looks like nothing is comming up new on Clemens.  All you have is Pettites testimony (from 10 years ago) and he isnt even there!  I think legally Clemens is still in the clear.

And McNamee sounds so much better on the radio than he looks on TV.  The guy looks like a rat.

his denials of the accusations that he used steroids and human
growth hormone, U.S. Representative Henry Waxman said today.

Clemens's account,'' Waxman, the chairman of the House Committee
on Oversight and Government Reform, said in his opening
statement at hearings on drugs in baseball. ``During his
deposition, he made statements that we know are untrue. In other
areas, his statements are contradicted by other credible
witnesses or are simply implausible.''

Yea but from what Im listening to, its more of less whether or not and when Clemens ever discussed HGH with McNamee.  Clemens stated they never discussed it, but then Clemens said he did discuss it with him regarding his wife, but that when they discussed that, it was after his initial statement?  Very confusing to me still. 

And these Congressmen only have 10 minutes each.  Half the time they have to ask the question 3-4 times, and the other half the time they have to repeat the question.  And if the question doesnt get answered, they just move on to the next question!

They should have just given 4-5 Congressmen of the committee 30 minutes each.

On a separate note, TGP turns yet another year older tomorrow and is "calling in sick" (but will still make sure to call into the Think Tank as usual). 

Probably just as well since TGP's pop is in town and just bought TGP a bottle of Edradadour (from Scotland's smallest distillary). 

Nothing like closing (and opening) another chapter in life with a highland single malt.

Gro loves the "I'm going to court, better change my hairstyle" trend that has happened with Pacman, Tank Johnson, Vick, and now Clemens.  3 years of law school, and all you have to do is tell you client to get the 'do' high and tight.

KS never got presents for Thanksgiving, but still gets something for his Bday and Christmas.  Mom KS usually gives KS a couple hundred bucks for Christmas and some stupid toy.

Hell yea.  I don't think I've ever gotten a thanksgiving present though.  But my mom still hides an easter basket for me in the house on Easter.

Superman agrees that Clemens does not look good coming out of this but...you have to take everything with a grain of salt because superman thinks McNamee is grade D trailer park trash... who would of been a lot more credible if his momma had taught him not to lie...  and I agree with one of the congressmen that their was no reason to even have this witch trial...which is exactly what it is a witch trial trying to catch Clemens in a lie...

agreed no turkey day present but pbr and mpbr usually get 1 big gift over xmas from pbr's rents i.e. grill, hammock, etc.... same thing from pbr's outlaws...for b-day usually its cash and golf shirt w/ a nice steak dinner out at ruth christs or somewhere...
