Why can't things be like college, where whoever held out the longest on something won.  Reg would ever touch another dish....ever!

Like when LD and gro would take the clothes you spread out in the living room and chuck them into your bedroom.

gro always seemed to be the one taking out the garbage. maybe that's because his room was right off the kitchen aka ground zero of stink.

LMAO REG!!! whenever pbr holds out on something mpbr just gives pbr that stare and says "what are you back in college?" sometimes pbr does on purpose just to get under the skin a little and it works like a charm everytime and she knows pbr is doing it on purpose and still gets to her...

This is JT's theory:  Screw up a few little things on purpose every so often.  That way you don't become one of those "Change/Fix Your Man" success stories in Redbook, Cosmo, or one of those rags.

Plus, JT consistently sells the team concept to FMJT.  Take one for the good of the team.  Those rags try to pit couples against each other.

Team concept doesn't always work, but JT's battle/acceptable compromise ratio is higher than Reg's.  In a good month, JT can win/acceptable compromise between 35-40%.  JT thinks women are psychologically programmed to not compromise or lose more than 40%.  Somehow that minimum 60% win ratio kicks in all the time.

Then there are the unacceptable compromises that are better than a total loss, but that's another discussion.

Lot to catch up on this am.

TGP's home PC kept shutting down D3FB.com due to the "phishing filter" going off like crazy.

Looks like some of the advertisers on this site are gon fishin'

My e-mail software thinks lots of things are phishing scams that aren't even close. You get what you pay for.

Great add to the Statesmen staff IMO.  Very timely to have a former D1 QB to advise Strom as he inherits the reigns from Mizro.

Reg.......

JU is goin to Baltimore June 7-9 (that weekend) for a bachelor party and was asked by one of the guys running it about goin fishin on Sat.  Do you know if there are any deals on any stuff like that or is it too close to the harbor and whatnot to make it worth while.

If you guys really want to get out on a boat fishing, I can offer you a local charter company.  My girl charters in Edgewater, MD are always bringing rockfish back with them.  They have a pretty nice setup and June is a good time of the year to fish.  The customers that usually go out usually come back stumbling around the docks and seem to have a really good time. (that could be from the fishing or the 21 ML's they start drinking at 8am)
Reg thinks that fishing is an excellent way to start the day.  Don't do the full day trip, it will get a little old.  They do all the work for you, all you have to do is reel them in.
It is about a 35 minute drive from the inner harbor and they usually leave pretty early.

I saw this kid play in HS.  His HS coach was his father.  He wasn't that great.  Had decent size, especially for the MAC, but he never really won the QB1 position at WMU.  Maybe he is a better coach??

Also, that was announced on May 1, so I don't know if that qualifies for "This just in...".  :)

Make sure Hobart doesnt hire Bill Belichik either.  I heard he wasnt a great HS or d3 football player.

Yeah that's a bit of a garbage statement.  I'm sure his exposure to football knowledge as a QB at WMU will be extremely beneficial for a d3 QB.  Who cares if he 'wasn't that great'.

We'll see regarding the coaching.

Normally TGP tries to stay up to date on the news back in Geneva, but with work, kids, etc a 3 week delay in getting to the website in the off season is par for the course.

Jonny Utah

And what does "decent size, especially for the MAC" mean?

Like Rotheslesberger, Pennington, Leftwich or those guys?

'gro

charlie frye and brandon gradkowski (tampa) are also ex-MAC qb's in the NFL....  the MAC would be the spoilers if they ever had an AQ style playoff in DI.
