Starving ... haven't eaten yet ... this being in-shape thing sucks sometimes ...

Working out? Nice job on the espn news by the way. It is amazing how far this d3 has come. You guys have done a great job. We all appreciate it!

Yeah good job on the leader... they even head a headshot.  Was it just me or did the announcer get a little annoying?  He would say the school name, then stress the mascot like it was really cool.

Hobart... the STATESMEN, they take on the WARRIORS from Lycoming.

TGP has the selection broadcast on Tivo and other than seeing Hobart's name on the bracket, neither the ESPN nor Pat actually said "Hobart" or the "Statesmen" in the (very brief to be fair) review of the MUC bracket.

Lyco got props for being the Williamsport (ie, ESPN loves the LLWS) home base as well as got a shout out from the ESPN guy for having a "selection viewing party" ie, watching the selection show.

BTW - RPI fans - the Lyco press release re: the Bart game indicated that "Hobart did not face a nationally ranked opponent this season."  Guess that #17/20 RPI ranking never really happened?

Obviously they are probably referring to the "final standings" but they gave themselves credit for beating a (then) #22 Del Val so, TGP would think they'd at least honor the RPI ranking.

You're the only dood on the board that doesn't know & accept that '57 can't spell.

Poor grammar and horrible spelling... it's just how he rolls.

Im right there with you...

Between the 4 straight Bills loses, SJF's season long struggle and then tanking their last game and the Sabres playing like crap the past 2 weeks its been hell living in WNY...

You'd think at some point the law of averages would lead to a good team in Buffalo :P

Eh we've just grown accustomed to being the laughing stock and whipping boys of other professional sports teams...

Trent Edwards played like a little girl that was afraid to get her dress dirty...

I know this isn't a bills board, but wtf was with the play calling?  Can't we get it closer than a 47 yard kick?  Really now...

Hey this is what you get with an ultra conservative defensive coach...

I cant believe he has a job in the NFL, he's had ONE winning season in 9 years...

PBR...

Sorry I was paraphrashing the ESPN guy... it just seemed that since he was probably just learning about 80% of these teams existance he just went nuts on their nicknames.  Watch it again.

Are there goalposts at the field TGP?

nope - would need to be added/moved from the boz for the game if that's the course of action.

only 1500 seats huh?

it's no butterfield.

Its no Boz either.

Harvard built a turf only staduim for lacrosse that looks like its about 1500.  Probably the same thing...

Too bad Pat C. closed the Pat C. page.  I wanted to ask him what he had for dinner...

JU, McCooey Field was built really for the girls field hockey team.  As the men's lax season has started earlier and earlier (I think the third week of Feb. this year), they have played a number of games on McCooey.  I met Sean McCooey, when I was in school, who was an exec with one of the bigger market maker/specialist firms and his advice (in front of a professor) was "see, you CAN drink Genny Cream Ale for four years in college and still be a success".  The McCooey's have been very loyal and generous to the school over the years.

I'm sure its been mentioned before, but the Boz is getting its own renovations in the offseason.  Not fully abreast of all the particular's, but it includes a field turf and new seating (and new track around the field).

What cracked me up is that he completely overlooked Cortland and Ithaca too.  Spewed out the PANTHERS from PLYMOUTH AVERAGE 400 YARDS of OFFENSE A GAME!!!!  It's their first time back in the tournament in x years.....AND THE

note to ESPN C-State will crush this NEFC team and might hold them to under 100 yards of total of offense

COLONELS from CURRY AVERAGE 500 YARDS of OFFENSE A GAME!!!

same deal - no clue that IC a) will smoke Curry and b) Dem Spicy Boyz probably should have even been given a Pool C in the first place - oh well
