Found out today that Austin College has a first-year receiver who went viral last fall for a 750+ yard, 11 touchdown game. Granted, it was 6-man football at a small level, but I'll be curious to check out his progression and see if he can get on the field this year. He's about 6-1, 190, so he's got good size at least.

I tried finding him in the 2025 DCTF and had no luck finding an East Texas team whose mascot is the Titans ... and goes to "Trinity" HS? Channel 19 comes from Longview.

Even after hiring birmingham-southern's head coach who's made the playoffs there austin has still suffered.

Sixmanfootball.com has them in TAPPS Division III, District 3.  According to Maxpreps the team was 1-6 last season.

Austin has struggled in many sports for some time - 9th of 12 schools in the SCAC President's Trophy last season - but football has been problematic for decades.  The last season they were over .500 was 2000.  It's a small school - 1181 undergrads last year per their common data set - with a roster around 100.  Hard to turn around a program like that and quite honestly it just might not be a priority.
