A very good win for a young team in the Lady Cavs.  GMC hits the big three pointer with 30 + secs to go in regulation.  Then the first 2 baskets of the OT.  Lady Cavs showed good composure and held off the Lady Griffins.  Still fighting for that last playoff spot.  Both BBC and Cabrini 7-5.  Monday the 14th will be a huge game for both teams.  Winner we'll probably be the 6th and final seed.  That game is a play in game to the playoffs.  Go Lady Cavs!!! :)

Lady Cavs have s chance to pick up some ground with a win of College of ND today and a loss by BBC to PBU(highly unlikely though, but you never know).  Monday looms.  Winner of that game most likely gets into the playoffs.  Hopefully there will be no overlooking today's opponent.  ;)  Good luck to the Lady Cavs!  Win today and they are 9-5 in the conference.

Senior Night at the Dixon Center.  Good luck to the Lady Cavs as they need a victory over BBC to clinch a playoff spot.  Julie Bonomo's last regular season home game.  Best wishes to her and the team.  :)

A very difficult and emotional loss for the Lady Cavs last night at the Dixon Center.  They were down by 12 but actually took the lead.  They just couldn't close it out.  They still have a chance at the playoffs.  A win at the #1 seed Neumann on Thursday and a loss by BBC at home against Keystone will get them in.  But that is a tall order for them.  I think they can win on Thursday.  I just don't see Keystone beating the Lady Defenders.  :(

The season comes to a close with the loss tonight for the Lady Cavs.  A very young team who really came on at the end of the season.  The future looks bright for Coach Kate and the ladies.  Good luck to Julie Bonomo.  She played her last game tonight as a Lady Cav.  You had a great career Julie, good luck in the future!!!  :)

Cabrini looks like they have a bright future. Those freshman have some potential.

Marielle Thorsen poured in 30 points last night as Marywood beat Centenary 87/78.  Marielle is a junior guard at Marywood, & a graduate of Belvidere High School (NJ).  Way to go!

Welcome Knight Fever, hope the Lady Knights do our conference proud in the playoffs......beat GMC!

Thanks for the welcome. Hopefully Neumann can win it all. They have the most talent out of all the playoff teams. If they can stay away from the defensive lapses that have kept games close they should be alright. Marywood, GM and Immaculata  are all capable of beating them, should be interesting.
