Oh boy another change at Cabrini.  So the new director has the fun task of not only seeking out a new men's head basketball coach,  he now has to search for a new women's basketball coach.  What is going on?  All I can say is hopefully it is a new era with a new president, new AD and new coaches.

These last few years in BB has been a train wreck.  Way to go WW of Cabrini ;D.  Thank goodness your gone.

What I find odd is that I'd heard Cabrini staff was being told Morgan was let go. Since I got a release from Haverford before Cabrini sent anything, I am fairly certain she left on her own accord. :)

Pat,

I'll bet she was told to go find another position, because she wasn't going to have her contract renewed.   :o So they were probably going to fire her, so she found something else.  She does have connections to Haverford so it made sense for her to go there.  She was at the right place right timing.

I hope this new "regime" isn't becoming like the last one.  Secretive, etc.   :'(

Hey Cabrini "do something extrordinary" not the same old same old. :-[

Uhh, if they were going to do that then why would they be second with the news?

New jobs don't just happen overnight.

I don't really know.   ??? It was more speculation than anything. :-[  (Probably shouldn't speculate) but when you hear one thing from staff and something else from a college you start to question and wonder what is really going on behind the scenes!!!

I know jobs just don't happen overnight.  Obviously.  You might hear more from other colleges about there openings, than most of us.   I was thinking that it was more of a process than just 'happening' overnight and things just fell into place for Bobbi.

My concern is that there is no openess, again keeping people off base.   ::) Just my opinion.

Good!  I am glad that the 13 stars are colonies and not members (12 + Shenandoah!)  :D

Well the searches for head basketball coaches at Cabrini are finally over.  :) The school has hired a former assistant from Holy Family University, a D2 school here in Philly, as the new head coach. Her name is Bernadette Laukaitis.  It looks like a solid move based on the article.  :)

Mailsy,

She might be a good hire...

but doesn't everyone sounds good in the press release?

The person who says something can't be done shouldn't stand in the way of the one who's doing it.

Lefty2,

That's true.  :)  We all look for a little hope don't we.   :) But, some, stories, look better and are more solid.  ie.  versus some other hires.  ;D

Mailsy,

Good luck with the new era at Cabrini: New AD. New men's coach.  New women's coach. New SID. New conference.

Who's next?

Just came in from yardwork & decided to treat myself to a computer session - i notice that Carissa Ryan is no longer head coach at Keystone - i wish the former King's player luck wherever she goes, & all the best to the new coach.
