At the end of the half, it is 0-0 thanks largely to the 6 saves of NYU GK Capo.

NYU did got off one shot that was maybe 5 feet over the crossbar.

I would say possession was 80-20 in favor of CMU in the first half.

#121
On a counter, NYU, on a great run of play, takes the 1-0 lead over CMU on a shot from the top of the 18 corner over the CMU GK O'Connor.

In the 22nd minute of the second half, the NYU Violets earned their first corner of the game and scored their second goal of the game with a shot into the upper netting of the goal!  They now lead 2-0.

CentPA

In a frantic moment in front of NYU goal with about 5 minutes left, the NYU GK - Capo blocked a point blank shot off the front of her face and the ball was cleared. Then there was a injury timeout as they checked on Capo but she is ok and play has resumed.

NYU beats Carnegie Mellon 2-0 for their first win in the UAA this year!

NYU GK, Capo, had a tremendous game (understatement) recording 11 saves on 11 shots on goal!

Great adjustments at half time let NYU even up the possessions stats but still I would say that Carnegie had overall the better possession .. probably 70-30 (maybe 65-35) in favor of Carnegie for the game.

Carnegie led in shots 17-4 and in shots on goal 11-2.  Obviously, NYU saved all 11 and Carnegie let both shots get to the back of the net.

Ten minutes into the Wash U vs Rochester game and no shots taken yet with possession maybe 60-40 in favor of Wash U at this point.

CentPA

Case Western gets the first goal of the night about 20 minutes into the game to go up 1-0 on Brandeis.

CentPA

Wash U gets a goal 25 minutes into the game with a nice header assist to a breaking Koleno that gets behind the defenders for a one on one shot that goes in.

CentPA

No score in the Chicago Emory game through 20 minutes.  So far Chicago has had slightly the better possession and play.

CentPA

Wash U had their second goal called back with an apparent foul on the Rochester GK.  Replay really didn't show any contact that would have caused a foul.??

CentPA

Wash U gets their second goal when Colpitts is left alone on the right side of the 18 and gets a shot off before a defender can block the shot.  As I'm typing this #9 Clemons scores a goal on a quick counter run of play.  Wash U now up 3-0 with 8 minutes left in the half!

CentPA

Case Western leads Brandeis 1-0 at the half and Wash U leads Rochester 3-0 at the half.  No score in the Chicago Emory game with 8 minutes left in the half.  That game started later than the other two because they had senior night before the game.

CentPA

Emory scores on a great run and cross from the right side by Tomlin to Hungness who easily put it into the back of the net from inside the six.  Emory up 1-0 on Chicago.  Now 3 minutes left in the half.

CentPA

Wash U gets their fourth goal on Clemons 2nd goal of the night 15 minutes into the second half.  Wash U now leads 4-0.

CentPA

Emory defender Davidson clears a ball off the line on a corner kick from Chicago nine minutes into the second half of that game.
