Quote from: wildcat11 on September 05, 2025, 02:02:05 PMHey don't forget all games are now behind a paywall in the NWC.  SO EXCITED FOR THIS GREAT PARTNERSHIP as you now have the honor of forking over $20 a month for something that has been free for years.

Redlands and Flosports should have to pay me to watch mediocre at best football.

Quote from: wildcat11 on September 05, 2025, 01:55:07 PMAlmost noon on the day before the 'Cats season opener and no season preview, no Oshkosh preview, etc.  (EDIT: Preview is posted, I'll stop with my bi*ching)

At least they finally update the coaches.  I thought it would be tough for Brett Elliott to be the head coach at L&C and the OC with Linfield at the same time.

Did they promote the intern to replace the SID legend, Kelly Bird?

Here's hoping that the quality of the stream is improved over the past years where video and audio would cut out, etc.....I'm told new cameras were installed so we'll see what we see tomorrow.....
Go Cats!

I would die before I gave Flosports a dime. Bummer because I used to love watching D3 ball. Now it's live games or nothing for me.

Not talking any BS, LF has had UR's number ...but the O line LF put on the field Saturday looked very SCIAC...
One frosh, three sophs, and junior....What is up, where did the upper classmen go ?
Less than two more years of Gavin.

Yeah, I forgot about the paywall. Was excited to tune in for a chunk of this NWC v WIAC matchup this weekend with Bethel and SJU on week 1 byes. Sign of the times.

Our all-nwc Center transferred to University of Idaho for his senior year (hasn't played through 2 games) and from the sound of it 3-4 other starters on the line were out vs Oshkosh.

Regardless, Linfield didn't look like Linfield.  Super young, not accurate throwing the ball, no push in the running game, gave up too much against the pass, lost a lot of experience off the staff, etc.  Looked bad, IMO.  Not ringing the alarm on the streak yet but this could be a tough year in McMinnville.

Can't disagree.    Wisconsin/Minnesota teams are always tough.   We were not ready for that.  But, the coaches will make adjustments and they will improve.

The inaccuracy of the passes was the most glaring issue. Trying to make McNabb a pocket passer might not be a great plan.  He seems more comfortable and successful when he's on the move and allowing him to run (it seems like he was told not to run in that game) will open up other aspects of the game.  Hopefully the injured guys can get healthy and the offense can improve in a big way before the Chapman game.  I think our defense played pretty well given how long they were on the field and how little rest the offense gave them.
