Not bad for his first year playing WR!

Gotta think there might be a Rundell pass in the Royals' playoff quiver.

Ha! Just more for folks to think about, right?

21 catches ... that's a season for some guys!

Pretty interesting how similar the Feeney and Drews stats were against Carleton. Both just feasted.

Totally. Knights had some good offensive skill guys but they were overwhelmed up front and on D. Cobbers vs Carleton will be interesting. Hope Curtis is healthy enough to play.

Gonna be a long day for the UmYaYas.

As previously (and as diplomatically as I could) stated, their defensive backfield isn't very athletic but they make up for it by also not tackling very well either.

Bethel threw for 420 on 'em despite taking the collective foot off the gas, and they're yielding 275 per game passing.

Just to see where North Central and Wheaton might fit, I did the potential brackets for the four "Western" top-eight seeds. Of course, with this, there are a great number of possibilities and any little change can start a domino effect.
I tried to make sure the teams in the Top 24 in the NPI got a first-round bye and looked at this geographically -- except for the island game of Chapman-Whitworth, whose winner also could get sent to NCC again (because of O'Hare Airport). However, there are three Indiana schools all near Indianapolis and two Michigan schools that are in the west or central parts of the state. Any or all five of those teams could go east but I sent them toward Wartburg or NCC. All those schools are too far of a drive from Bethel or UW-River Falls.

Hanover at Alma
winner goes to NCC

UW-Whitewater at Hope

---------------------

DePauw at Wheaton
winner goes to Wartburg

Wabash at Monmouth

----------------------
Chapman at Whitworth
winner goes to Bethel (Minneapolis-St. Paul airport)

Central at UW-Platteville (or UW-LaCrosse)

---------------------
Crown at Concordia (WI)
winner goes to UW-River Falls

St. John's at UW-LaCrosse (or UW-Platteville)

As is so often the case, there are going to be some VERY good teams that get prematurely eliminated because of geographic constraints. But if you want to be the man, you've got to beat the man regardless of what round it may be.

I tried to avoid Bethel and St. John's matching up in the quarterfinals Round of 16, at least. I don't know if the committee will think the same way.  ;D

Reminder! All Saturday MIAC Games, with the exception of the Bethel/CSS game, are at 12. Bethel/CSS is at 1.

Hamline/Augs is 7:30 PM on Friday

I believe this is a change as I think the Bethel game was originally set at 12.

I may be mistaken, but I didn't think CSS had lights, and the reason MIAC games were moved up an hour was because of going back to standard time as an hour of daylight was lost in the afternoon. So if that is the case, anyone know why the game is starting at 1 instead of 12?
