Elbow guard is the second most important piece of equipment in that league.

DickWhitman

I think the equipment companies market extra long elbow guards to them

The NCAA stats site shows a game between Keystone and RIT on 3-8-2020 with 67 HBP's.  They were either out for blood or I'm worried about NCAA stats data quality.

Caz Bombers

Some sort of software glitch in that one, or a Sidearm coding error.

https://ritathletics.com/sports/baseball/stats/2020/keystone-college/boxscore/10926

Morales for Keystone had an odd day at the plate, going 0-2 with 78 walks, 108 strikeouts, 97 sac bunts, 114 sac flies, 46 stolen bases in 78 attempts, and getting hit by 67 different pitches, apparently.

Bmo

I hope Keystone had an ice bath.  Morales needed one after that game.

Updated SCIAC rankings going into the ULV PP showdown for the conference title:

8. La Verne
26. CMS
30. Pomona-Pitzer
43. Redlands
57. CLU

Top 3 are in, CLU is out. Does someone smarter than me know where the bubble line is? Redlands have a shot?

DickWhitman

It looks like it will be pretty close. I'd love to see them get in. They put together a solid year and could possibly cause some chaos in a regional.

DickWhitman

One of the D3 podcasts ran the numbers if all favorites win their conferences today and Redlands would be first out. McMurry would be in according to them.

Ralph Turner

Well McMurry would be #23, (before I run the numbers...)

Ralph Turner

Just my guess
If there are 3 SCIAC's 3 SCAC's, 1 ASC, 1 NWC, then lowest ranked SCIAC/SCAC's get exchanged.
ETBU to Trinity.
NWC to SoCal.

DickWhitman

This would make the most sense. Wish we didn't have to wait until tomorrow to find out!

Ralph Turner

I reviewed the list.

35) Keystone Bid #15 (57.169) Playing PSU-Harrisburg (#32) for the United East title.
41) McMurry Bid #22 (56.840)
42) Oswego Bid #23 (56.810) (How much do they change with the result of the Cortland Oneonta final, Cort beating Oneonta?

43) Redlands (56.742)

Bubble warning, MIT and Salve are tied in the 10th. MIT needs 2 wins to bust the bubble and have Oswego fall off.

MIT came to SoCal in March and lost to Chapman 1, PP twice and ULV once. Let's see how much that affects Redlands along with other games.

Ralph Turner

Keystone beat PSU-Harrisburg which was #32. Keystone did not help Redlands any.

Ralph Turner

From 05/09 to 05/10, Oswego State lost 2 games and fell from 57.704 to 56.810, 0.094 points
