I went to a doctor appointment (physician assistant, really) and realized that I was older than she was.  It made me feel old  :-\

A tradition unrivaled...

I love driving past Treasurer Sh*tty on my way up to Bemidji, especially around the 4th of July-what a place-but I have never stopped in. Is it possible it is listed on the Register of Historic places??

Feeling older?  Highway 10 went down Main Street in Anoka, through Coon Rapids and other towns when I was a little kid.

Linfield should join the MIAC. We could start creating super-conferences like the FBS.

When's the last time Linfield beat a MIAC team?  They would be a middle-of-the-pack at best ;D

Linfield, UMHB, and Salisbury.  That way we could get to 12 and have a conference championship game.  It'd really help get our brand name more notariaty and hopefully open up the Dallas and D.C. tv markets which, I think, is essential to our growth and viability moving forward.  We wouldn't have to change the conference initials either.  We'd be known as 'Merica Intercollegiate Athletic Conference.

I think you're on to something.  With this national brand for a conference full of religiously affiliated schools perhaps a national TV contract would be next.  Maybe CBN would be interested.  Too make that happen Salisbury would have to be dropped for Catholic University.  Messiah Intercollegiate Athletic Conference.

Your religious school idea got me thinking.  Screw Linfield, UMHB and Catholic - let's go big.  Southern Methodist, Notre Dame, BYU. All faiths welcomed in 'Mmrrrca Conference.

He's got to get another 1500 votes just to catch up.
Here's where we find out the true strength of the purported legions of Tommie faithful listening on 'CCO and watching games across the globe from corporate boardrooms and the highest offices of government.
Sing us a song, you're the piano man
Sing us a song tonight
Well, we're all in the mood for a melody
And you've got us feelin' alright.

If by "legions" you mean me, sitting in my office on a slow Friday, reading Deadspin, and voting for him over and over and over, then yeah.

I kid.

I think we've already seen the UST faithful in action, considering that he won the Coach of the Year Award in 2010.  A more important question might be whether or not we're going to see a trend develop.
