Just when I felt Deis was settling into the game, crafty #22 sets up a through ball that leads to a trashy deflection goal, but a goal nevertheless. 2-0 Wash U.

I thought WashU was due for a win today, but really surprised by the late goals given up by Brandeis on the run of play late in the first half.

WashU looks like they may be well on their way to a win today. Brandeis may play better in the second half, but the Judges are going to have a tough time getting 3 goals back to equalize.

Game now at halftime. Wash U up 3-0 over Brandeis.

Looks like Brandeis alum Jonah White will be doing the play by play for the UChicago UAA home soccer games this season, as he is currently a grad student at Northwestern.

Sure enough, Jonah White with the call of the NYU at UChicago doubleheader today.

I am going to have to catch him later today on the on-demand feed, as I really miss him doing the Brandeis home play by play this season. At least he will still be doing play by play in the UAA this year, even if it is with UChicago Maroons home games.

To give some color to Jay Murry's comments about 2 Brandeis players getting a yellow card so far this match, #26 Kaden Collins of Brandeis got a yellow card in the first half vs WashU, and #5 Dylan Marzouca of Brandeis got a yellow card this half vs WashU. These numbers are what these players are wearing today.

WUPHF mentioned earlier today about how WashU got a great class of first year players this season, but junior Ethan Wirtschafter is proving to be the man of the match today.
